Shawna,             Your profile must still be private to me. I was going to send you a PM, but I guess I can't.    The reason I am doing my diet for the THIRD time is because, the first two times the Insurance said it wasn’t detailed enough. I went to my OB/GYN monthly and got weighed. Apparently the DR didn’t make detailed clinical notes. I am not doing the diet with the surgeons office, and it is MUCH more thorough. If I think about it too much I get mad, so I just try to think of it as extra time to prepare myself. In fact I was at the first seminar Dr. Roller had. I believe I was one of the first three patients.   At first my husband was going to wait untill I was about a year post-op before he began his WLS journey, however he received some news from his PCP that he has fatty liver disease, and he must lose 150 LBS very quickly. So he should be starting his diet in the next month or so. We have two small children so I hope that I will be recovered before his surgery.   I was thinking today as I was getting dressed in capri's and flip-flops that this is most likely my last summer to be a fat person! That thought excites me. I love the beautiful weather in spring/summer, but because I am so heavy I get sweaty and uncomfortable very easily.

That really stinks that you have gone at it 3 times, but maybe your insurance will get the idea that you are not giving up and they can give in any time now!

Your husband has to lose 150 pounds...gosh, for a man that may take 6-8 months! I wasn't so lucky, but the hub was. He averaged almost a pound a day until he reached goal and now he just kind of hangs out around 200! You guys really aren't that far so if you ever want to get together, just let me know.

I was told after surgery that I had a fatty liver (when I first typed that, I wrote lover so it read "I was told after surgery that I had a fatty lover" I'm giggling over here!) and I thought, "Well hell, at 300 pounds what isn't fat? My eyelashes?"

You will not sweat anymore, just be ready to freeze in july darling dear, promise ya!

I think I am going to try and come up for support group on the 24th, the man will be out of town and I start my new job on the 23rd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where's your new job?!?! I plan to be there this month. Johnny threw a curve ball last month and we didn't go, but I want to go.

What board you hanging out on these days? I never see you on any of them anymore.

Not on much anymore, tooooo busy with life and finding a new better job finally!
