I got back from Puerto Vallarta, MX yesterday. I am 9 days post-op and feel great! PV was a wonderful experience and the care I received in PV was top notch! I will be seeing my PCP this week to get my stiches removed and give him my pre-op test results and surgery notes from Dr. Joya. My PCP has told me he will follow me closely and keep a check on all my levels post-op (he's an awesome doctor!).

I am down 27lbs. I lost 17lbs on the pre-op diet and have lost 10 lbs since surgery on 2/23. I am excited to be joining you guys on the losing side!

Welcome home and welcome to the loser's bench. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad everything went well for you in Mexico. You know how we worry about each other. It's very good news that your PCP is going to follow you so well.

We live in Alexander. Maybe a cup of something one of these days?

I'm so glad everything went well! I'm 11 mos out and 35 pounds from goal and starting to think about having some skin removal surgery. My insurance wont cover it so I will have to be very creative. I'm thinking of Mexico, but scared. I will not do anything until I've reached goal and maintained for 2 yrs, and I would have to research the options alot. You are doing so well, you give me hope! Good luck with your journey, its a fun but wild ride!

Welcome home! This is the only place where calling someone a loser is not degrading, so I'm calling you a loser!

We go in for my six month check up on the 17Th. I am 37 lbs away from my goal weight. I am excited. I put a pair of jeans yesterday and it has been 25 years or more since I put on a pair of jeans and my thighs are not rubbing together trying to start a fire. LOL Again welcome home and welcome to the losers club.

PS I want to go on an exotic trip to Mexico and lay on the beaches and be the hot chick in the thong.
