Hey gang,

Well, I got through yesterday with a cancellation that allowed me to get caught up. I hate getting behind, making clients wait and getting me all nervous. Most of all, I hate being so busy that I can't get in my snacks. I do, however, get my water in...at least I can do that while cutting/styling, etc.

Here's yesterday

latte

bkfst burrito

2% lattte

1/2 PB&J

cottage cheese w/ yogurt

Starbuck's Vivanno w/ extra protein

Cedarlane veggie wrap

1/2 PB&J

Cals:  1276  fat: 35  carbs: 203  protein: 88

My doctor's visit (with my regular pcp)  went good yesterday. He gave me a prescription for some antibiotics and a decongetestant.  I was still running a little fever when I went . Feel a little better this morning.  He said he was very proud of me. I've lost 128 pounds. My blood pressure was 111 over 75, so that is great. They drew four vials of blood for bloodwork. I'll get the results on them sometime today. Hope they turn out good. I haven't been eating very good because of the drainage that I have. My little pouch just can't distiguish between food and mucus. So it thinks it's got food in there all the time. Hopefully it will get better now.
Gotta catch up on my laundry today. Haven't done much this week because I have felt so bad, but that laundry just has to be done today!!!!

Everybody have a great day!!

Congrats on the good check-up.   Great job on the weight loss and the BP of a teenager.
Hope you get over the crud quickly.
I have my regular PCP thing next week.  No issues to deal with that I know of.  Time for my one-year blood work.  Hope your results are perfect.

Thanks Steve,
I hope your visit next week goes well. Good luck with getting those scales to move. I know I get frustrated when it doesn't move for a while. But that is the way mine does. I'll lose really good for a while, then for about two months, nothing happens, then wham, it starts moving again. Crazy. Been like that all along.
Do you still take medicine for your diabetes? Good luck with that. My husband has diabetes. I know the struggles he goes through.

I just take one shot every day (20 units).   That's down from 200 units and 4 oral meds pre-op, so I am very happy with the progress.   Also have great control now and didn't have good control pre-op.

Good day yesterday.   We closed on a house refinance.  Gonna save a bunch every month now with better interest rate.  Good timing on that.  Oh, and we get $28 back from closing so gonna have a big ol' party ----------well, maybe not so big.

I am going to take advantage of the warm day to get a good walk in over lunch.   I have been enjoying the opportunity to do that lately and then I don't have to do it when I get home, plus it provides a nice break in the middle of the day.

here are yesterday's eats.   More of the same.  Good on numbers again... now I just need to see some results.   Susan, as you asked in yesterday's post.... I did increase to 1400 cals about 3 weeks ago.  Haven't seen any impact (good or bad) yet.  I may have to try to go up and down to get out of this rut.   Been stuck for a good two months.   I got a little reduction when I went from 1000 to 1200 a few months back, but then leveled off.  I am exercising, hydrating and logging everything and really hesitate to get off of a steady daily intake since it is so good for the diabetes, but i may have to try anyway.   The blood sugars are great and very stable so I may give mixing it up a try and monitor closely.   I see Dr Baker next month, so I will ask lots of questions then.  Meanwhile, I am open to any great ideas anyone has.  I ain't done with losing yet!  Still a ways to go.

Hey, I don't eat much, can I come to the party?? LOL

I would think that you would have seen something change in a three week period. Hmmmm, scratching my head here. I'm doing Addie's hair in a week, we'll chat about this...not you per se, but stalls in men. You guys seem to have different trends in your journies.

Have you checked out the Men's board?  They might have some ideas for you. If they do, bring 'em on back here and share.  My only thought  after looking at your totals are your carbs. I'm no good at math, ashamed to say, but are you within the 30% range on that?  Maybe an increase in protein and decrease (for a bit) in carbs?

Sure you can come to the party.

Thanks for the thoughts on the stall.  I am at 40 P - 30 F and 30 C.   I was less than 30 C for a good while, but with the increase in cals, I upped the carbs to 30.   I think I'll try cutting them back for a while and see what happens.   I got off dead center once before by doing just the protein drinks for a week - not  a good solution long term, but I may try it next week just to see if I can get things going again.  I'll have to get myself mentally ready for that, but I am leaning that way right now.
