Hey Gang, what's doin'?

Sunday was a very busy day with the kids over for Bella production. As you probably know, they are vegetarians, so that's how I cook on Sundays. They go to bruch before coming, so they don't eat until it's dinner time. I, of course have to have my snacks and seldom get them in while we're working. So my numbers are again off. This is 3 days(I think) of intake below 1200 cals, and this morning I'd gained 1.4 lbs. Lesson learned. Gotta get those calories up!

Here it is:

latte

breakfast burrito

left over chicken tortilla soup

cottage cheese / yogurt

latte

1/4 tortill a w/ phony chicken, 2% cheese and 1 tbs guacamole

fiber one cereal, 1/2 c 1% milk

cals:  1212    fat:  37  carbs: 139  Pro  77

Susan, I did a double-take when I saw your food - I read your dinner as having 1 LBs of guacamole, LOL!!  Fuzzy Monday morning brain...

We had a very busy weekend.  Saturday, we had a family birthday party for my little one who is now FIVE, *sob*.  She's not a baby anymore.  Then I went out with an old friend and her buddies.  We ate dinner at Canon Grill and played dominos.

Sunday, I went for a run (2 whole miles without stopping!!!) and then went out to the movies with another couple of friends.  Then we went to Copeland's and had a bite to eat.  I picked up my finally ungrounded teenager from the movies and headed home in time to hug my little people for a few minutes before shipping them off to bed.  It was a fun weekend, but it was almost too much fun, KWIM?

I'll try to reconstruct my intake from yesterday:

Protein bar
energy gel
4 pieces sf candy
some shrimp scampi and veggies
a bite of biscuit
crackers and a slice of provolone cheese
lots of water

It seems like I'm forgetting something... oh well.

Honey, I honestly bathe in guacamole I love it so much. But, alas, it was only 1 tbs.

How did you like Copelands?  We haven't gotten there yet, but would love to go. I understand they have huge portions, so we'd probably split something.

Sounds like you had a great weekend. Holy cow....2 miles?!!!!  You go!

What I've eaten at Copeland's is very good, but it's also very bad.  A lot of what people go for is the dessert or drinks so it's quite difficult in that manner... almost not worth the money, IMO.  I wanted shrimp, but I didn't want breaded/fried/loaded with sauce so I ordered scampi, subbing veggies for the pasta.  The shrimp that came was tasty, but breaded.  And the portion really was huge.

I've been one other time at lunch - got the blackened catfish with veggies subbed for the mashed potatoes (they brought them anyway -- SO good/bad).  It was near perfection.  If I go again, I'm sticking to that.

Thanks for the heads up on Copelands. I hate to have Gary drive into LR for us to have dinner together after I get off work, and I REALLY hate to come home and then go back out. So, maybe we'll check out lunch one of these days.

We went to Dizzy's Grill Saturday night in Benton. FINALLY....we found a good restaurant outside of LR. I had the chicken/black bean soup which I could have easily gotten three meals out of. They brought salad before and man, it was so cold and crisp I ate a little more of it than I should have so didn't have a lot of room left for the entree. Oh well, it was just as good for lunch yesterday.

Gotta go....Gary gave me an early birthday present...a netbook computer. So, I'll be busy trying to learn yet another new thing. A year ago I would have laughed at anyone who would have told me all of the new things I've learned and done.  What a life!

Hey Susan,
Congratulations on the success of your Bella line. That must be some good stuff. I'll have to try it out sometime. Maybe sometime when I'm in LR, I can go over to Glo and check it out, that is if they have any...lol..
I had a good weekend. I had a girls day out Saturday with my three sisters. They all live at Cabot and came down for the day. We didn't get home till 8:30 that night. We shopped and shopped and shopped.  Didn't really buy a whole lot. Looked at a lot of stuff we knew we couldn't afford. It didn't matter though, we just had fun being together. I was so tired I could hardly walk. But boy did we have fun.Yesterday I had a sinus headache. Took some medicine and slept most of the afternoon.
Hope everyone has a good day today!!!

Ann, isn't it wonderful to have enough energy to go all day like that? What fun you all must have had together!

Oh, we make sure that Glo stays as well stocked as possible. They even have the shampoo and conditioner that I'm not able to carry at the salon. You'd love it, I'm sure.

Hugs to ya!

It was great having the energy to do all that walking!! We did kinda have to move slowly. My one sister has problems with her knees. She is suppose to have surgery on them soon. The bone in there is rubbing the other bones and she is getting these gritty pepples between the two bones. So it causes her a lot of pain. I'll be glad when she gets the surgery done.

I'm sure I would love the products. Glo carries the brand of makeup I like to use....Philosophy. I don't know if you've heard of it or not. But I just love that makeup.

Don't work too hard.
