Double WoW moment

OK this was a a double wow for me. I took my husband to the doctor for his check up.  His physician who at one time was my doctor walked in and took a double take.  He stared for a minute and finally asked are you his wife or daughter? I laughed and said it's me Peaches. He had me stand up and show off a bit.  He nor the nurses could believe their eyes. WOW!  Then later on that evening I took my son's girlfriend to the emergency room.  I ran into one of the ER doctors and he was shocked. The next morning his wife called to tell me that all he talked about that night and the following morning was how great I looked.  WOW!  It's certainly nice to hear people talk about how good you look instead of how bad you look.

That is so great!!! And to have a double wow to boot, that's just wonderful. I know that must have really boosted your ego. I am so proud for you. That hard work is paying off. Keep it up.

Thanks I think I'm beginning to find my ego. LOL

What great moments for you.  Really makes it worth all the effort.   Glad you got to enjoy these experiences.

Good for you, Peaches!!!  It's times like this that make everyting so worth while. When you shock a doctor, not to mention TWO, you know you're on the right track.

I had one of my best friends not recognize me after months of not seeing me face to face (and she even knew I'd lost the weight)!

Thanks. It really is amazing how much your body changes as the weight comes off.  With weight loss I always thought about the waistline, the arms, leg, butt, thighs all of the obvious stuff. I did not realize how much your facial features would change.
