Hey Gang.

I'm working tomorrow, so my weekend doesn't officially start until Sunday. BUT that doesn't mean I can't live though you guys and hear about your weekend plans.

When mine gets here it will be a day of MASS quanitity production for Saint Bella. We can't keep the stuff on the shelves at the two locations, so we're cracking the whip on each other. Both of us are still in shock that something that started out as a hobby is growing so well and so fast.

Oh....don't forget...The Academy Awards is Sunday night. It was our first "date" when Gary and I met. No...no red carpet for us, just a bottle of wine in front of the tv. Hmmmm, little wonder people gave our marriage 6 weeks to last!  HAH!!  This is our 27th awards year together.

Love and hugs to all!

We are going to buy new furniture for our bedroom!! Wohooo!!! My husband thought it would be nice to invite his mother **sigh** such a momma's boy. I'm going to need some medication to get through the day tomorrow. She has a hillbilly style. Seriously. She loves those little booth's at craft fairs that sell "hillbilly" stuff (and usually say hillbilly right on the side). I have a country/western style. Somehow she thinks our styles are similar. I'm sure she will be giving her advice on what I should buy for my room as I am also going to be buying some decorative items. I'm nice and I hate to flat out tell her that I don't like something, but it usually has to come to that. She likes the way I decorate, but the feeling isn't mutual...lol. It's going to be a LONG day. Oh yea, she'll also want to smoke in the truck the entire way down there(not a short trip by any means). Gawd. Pray for me, I try very hard to be nice to that woman, but she makes it so difficult!!!!

I'll take some pictures when I get done so everyone can see my completed bedroom!

Aw, honey, what a drag.  Having a Mil around like that surely could take the fun out of the day. Hope you got everything you wanted and that it looks great!

I'm afraid if she were in my car and started to light up she'd end up strapped to the front of the hood like a deer.  Can't stand the smoking thing....no matter who it is!

Well my MIL told her mother that we were going so she decided she wanted to come, too! Johnny's grandma is just as bossy or possibly bossier. My husband called to tell me that I and I told him to call his mother back and tell her that they were welcome to come, but they would have to follow us in their vehicle if they both wanted to come. I offended them all.

I had good reason though! While our truck is a 4 door, I had every intention to get some shopping done as well and I am not putting my breakables in the bed of the truck. If there were 4 people in the cab of that truck, there wouldn't be any room for my stuff and they would have to sit scrunched up together so that I could get my stuff in there PLUS whatever they bought. I was not going to limit my shopping just because they wanted to come along for the ride.

When we got headed home from shopping adventures Saturday, Iooked in the back seat and said, "I don't feel bad." I had well over half of the truck piled up with all of my crap. After we went home and unloaded, we headed back out to a few antique/flea market places to pick up a cowhide that we had been told about and some other stuff. Once again, the back seat was stuffed.

This was not the weekend for browsing and window shopping, I was planning to buy so I can get my bedroom done!

I will have many jobs this weekend.

I'll run a laundrymat.

I'll run a cook and a waitress.

I'll be a babysitter and a chaperon.

I'll be a driver.

I'll be a tutor.

I'll be a slave and a slave-driver.

I'll be a banker and a barber.

Obviously... my kids are having company this weekend.

Didn't someone take all the tasks a mom does and give it a salary? It was a crazy number, from what I remember. Something akin to a CEO's  yearly income.

Did you get a chance to decompress at all?  Hope you have a good week at work. Maybe we'll chat sometime, huh?
