It's Thursday.....how you doin'?

Good morning one and all,

Here we are at Thursday already, my how the weeks do fly by!  I'm really looking forward to the meeting tonight, getting new info from the psych lady and seeing all my friends. It will be nice to see the changes in everyone since last month.

Yesterday was definitely a challenge for me food wise. Breakfast was the ususal (gotta change that today, getting tired of the same ol' thing). Just as I was putting my food together for the day the power went out. So, I grabbed a can of tuna and a pack of melba toast, cottage chees and peaches and out the door I went.  Work got nuts, no time to sit and eat, so by the time I got home at 8:00 all I had eaten was 7 pieces of melba toast and that can of tuna. Never got to the rest of it, but did manage to grab 1/2 small apple along the way. It was too late to really eat anything when I got home, so I nuked a sweetpotato and that didn't taste like what I wanted, so ended up with 1/2 pb&j.

Got on the scale this morning and lost 1.2 lbs.   Bad Susan, bad :(

Here's how it shook out

Latte  w/ 1% milk

bkfst:  burrito on ww tortilla with eggbeaters and turkey bkfst sausage

latte w/2% milk

3 melba's w/ tuna

3 melba's w/ tuna

Well, Wednesday started out pretty darn miserable, due to the night before's episodes, but the day ended great!!!

After Mike got home yesterday we threw on some go to town clothes and went to Prattsville to buy a new gate for my horse's stall.  After we left there, we decided to drive on up to Benton and go to the Saddle shop.  And thats where it got FUN!!!!  Looked all over the store and came out w/all the new stuff I need to show my horse, except for a saddle.  Got stuff there for $91, that would have cost over $300 if we had ordered it all online.  Now I just need to get my saddle ordered, and I'll be ready to show!!! Woo Hoo!!! 

Maybe the psych can help me w/my horse disease tonight, ha ha.  Horses are more than a hobby, they are an illness or disease.  I feel certain there is NO cure.

Food yesterday could have been better, but Im getting there slowly but surely.

Breakfast-Slim Fast (low carb w/scoop of protein powder)

Lunch-1 pkg of cheddar cheese crackers (still sick from night before)

Dinner-1 beef enchilada made w/small tortilla and the meat from a second one

Snacks-corn nuts and beef jerky

Lots of u/s tea and crystal lite.

Ok, Im off to take care of my FIL's animals, hope to see everyone tonight!!!

Yesterday was passable food-wise.  I had a great run last night... I had an energy gel before and a banana afterwards and that really helped my energy level.  I'm a little aggravated that it cost me upwards of 200 cal, but you do what you gotta do, right?  When I weighed this morning, I'd lost another pound, so I guess it can't be all bad... just need to be a bit more careful.

I'm really excited to see y'all tonight!!!

Forget the treadmill, go outside!!!!!  I think the fresh air has a whole lot to do with it.  And the weather has been lovely lately... just pick a spot down the street and challenge yourself to make it there. 

Seriously, I'm still on a high today... endorphins are amazing. :-)

Whatever happened to growing old gracefully?  Have I mentioned I hate going to the doctor?  Saw the ortho doc today about my shoulder.  They xrayed it again and then sent me in to talk to the PA.  After describing my symptoms, he says "you have two bone spurs in your shoulder that is causing the bursitis but I don't think that is what is causing all of your symptoms."  He sent me back for more xrays of my neck this time and when he looks at them, he says that my C6 is slipped and overlipping on the C7, the space between the C7 and C8 is compressed and has a bone spur, and that they need a closer look so I have to go have a MRI on my neck next week.  He gave me a Medrol dose pack that should help the inflammation and relieve some of the pain and muscle spasms in the meantime.  I hope it doesn't mess with the pouch.  Anyway, I stayed closer to my goal for the day Wednesday on my food.  I'm still having to fight for every pound to come off though.
