Finally down 65 pounds

I am not going to reach my mini goal I had set up for myself.  I wanted to be down to 200 pounds before my visit with Dr. Baker on Tuesday.  But at least the scales did move and I am at a total loss of 65 pounds since Oct. 1st.  I have been back in the gym for the last two weeks and I know that some of the scales standing still is muscle gain.  I have 12 more pounds to lose before I see the 199 on the scales, I wouldn't have made it even without the muscle gain I don't think but I would have been closer.

I can say that I do finally feel better.  I am still tired and weak but I can finally say, yes I lost 65 pounds and I feel like I have more energy than before.  I know it will take time for me to be 100% for my ordeal but I am low on patience.  But hey like I told someone else today I am just thankful that I am here and able to get better each day.

My mom still tells me things that sends chills up and down me.  Now I totally understand why my mom crashed after we got home from the hospital, she was told so much while I was sick.  I can only imagine what she was thinking and how she felt.

Hi Amy,
Glad to hear that you are feeling better now.  Congrats on the great weight loss.  You have had a rough start but sounds like you are now on your way to better things.  Dr Baker will be pleased with your progress.

Good for you Amy. You should be proud of yourself.  Just hang in there and the weight will come off. You have come a long way. Congrats to you.

I'm glad you're doing better -- you and your family have definitely been through the wringer.  I'm impressed that you're back in the gym!  I'm sure Baker will be pleased, too.

Take care, and let us know how it goes on Tuesday.
