Good morning everyone,

Hope last nights LR support meeting was a great time as always.  Wish  I could have been there.

On the job front, yesterday was a false alarm.  I went to work absolutely certain that it was my last day, but the terminations were few on day one.  Many more to come, but not sure how soon.  So, the good news is I will get to go to work again today.  I don't know how long it will last but I am thankful for every additional day.

Sorry about being "Chicken Little - The Sky is Falling" in yesterday's post, but I am very happy to have been wrong.  No more false alarms from me.  I won't speak of what I think going forward - only what I know.

I know that you guys are the best, so I'll say that here.  Hope everyone has a great Friday.

What's new with you?

Don't feel bad about the false alarm -- I can't imagine how stressful this whole thing is for you and your family.  I'm glad, too, that you get to work another day... keep us posted, certain or not.

The meeting was fun, but you were missed! :-)

Sorry to just now get back to responding.  Been off-board a couple of days.

Glad you still get to work!  Here's to hoping you get to stay as long as you want!

Steve, you deserve every minute of being Chicken Little. I can't imagine the pressure you must have been under all these months, only to have to wait a few more days to find out what's happening. I thought about you on Thursday, we talked about you at the meeting, wondering how things were. Then tonight on the news it said you would be finding out on Monday. What a roller coaster!

I guess all we ever can do is be thankful for one more day.

We missed you at the meeting. Hope you daughter's thingy was nice.

Take care

Susan

Thanks to all for your kind words.   I am actually handlng this much more calmly than I would have expected.  They sure are stringing us along though.  I suppose they don't want to put too much info out too soon and tarnish their reputation, but if that means getting a paycheck for a bit longer then I am all for it.  I'm learning to take it one day at a time and not get too caught up in trying to figure everything out right now.  This would have put another 20 pounds on me in my pre WLS life.  I am glad that is behind me.  No using food for support anymore.  You all are the greatest.
Thanks
Steve
