Finally Friday--New Year's Day Log---or.....
DID YOU START THE NEW YEAR OFF RIGHT????????????????
Ok, here we go with a brand new year. How are you going to treat it? Please tell me you are all going to either continue with the positive changes you've already started to make, or now is the time for you to start. It's a clean slate.....so, what's it going to be?
We went to Pine Bluff to an auction and it totally blew my routine. Sat around while Gary bid on stuff, but it got going late and I'd never been to one, so didn't know what to expect. Ended up not eating lunch until 2:30, then dinner got all messed up, well, you know what I mean. I did have some popcorn at the auction, but it was so salty I couldn't eat much of it. Maybe that explains the 1.2 lb gain this morning? Better push the fluids today!
Here's how Thursday shook out

teriyaki chicken breast, mixed vegetables, 2 slices pineapple

cals: 1556 fat: 38 carb: 220 pro 104

New Years Day I spent most of the day in bed sick as a dog!!! Gotta love the weather flip flopping!!!

Dinner was homemade peppersteak, just meat, onions and bell pepper. Ate about 1 cup of that, but just wasnt in the mood for food.
Drank some, but Im sure it wasnt enough, b/c I spent most of the day in bed sleeping. I hope the rest of the year is better than the first 2 days have been.

Okay. So I'm back to post the planned positive changes I plan on making this year.
1) Spend less. Save more.
2) Pay off some bills.
3) Worry less.
4) Work harder.
5) Be a better parent.
6) Be a better wife.
7) Give more.
8) Exercise more.
9) Keep the house neater/cleaner. (Declutter.)
10) Get on a stricter sleep schedule.

Wendy those are great ideas for changes for the New Year.
The worry one reminded me of a book I 'listened" to and the guy, Wayne Dyer said he spoke with a guru sp? and the guru said..."It is important not to worry about the things you have no control over." So Wayne thought about that and deicded that was a good idea and wrote it down...then the guru said.."it is important Not to worry about the things that you DO have control over." So Wayne wrote that down as well and realized that those 2 statements covered everything.
I too am aiming to worry less and just see what happens. I read about a girl that used the Law of Attraction to lose lots of weight and gain health. I love that idea as well.
