Can't trust that day.......now that song is in my head, but you've gotta be old enough to relate!

Anyway, here we are at Monday again. I have to go to a funeral today, so that's not a good way to start any week. Back to work tomorrow, but only 8 people on the books for the entire week, so I really can't say I'm going back to work...more like socializing.

Yesterday was a nice day. We started off to find an estate sale in NLR, it wasn't going on, so we headed south to Hot Springs to the antique shope. Ended up just having lunch and then coming home. Our San Diego Chargers played on Sunday Nite Football and WON!!!!  Yahooooo....they're going to the playoffs.  I'm soooooooooo excited.

I'm tossing out all of the leftover holiday goodies today to get ready for the new year. This junk has gotta go!

Hi Susan,

I am old enough to remember and now that song is in my head too.  Congrats to your Chargers.  I watched them win and they were pretty convincing.

I am using up the rest of my 2008 vacation this week, so looking forward to just hanging out with the family and doing some hobby work in the garage.   I am going to play golf with a buddy tomorrow - its supposed to be 62 and sunny - yippee!

Well yes, I am now singing the song!!! Thanks so much Susan!!!  Could be worse things going thru my head.  Im not old enough to know it from its day, but I am a strange young person and enjoy listeing to the old stuff.  You can understand it, it makes sense and no one is killing anybody, for the most part, in the older music.

Yesterday was non eventful, just went to The Barn, hung out w/all our riding buddies, Mike cooked, and we stayed till after dark.

Food intake was OK

Breakfast-1/2 homemade sausage patty and small croissant
Lunch-2 oz boneless pork chop, 1 slice bread
Dinner-3-4 oz boneless country style rib, 3 bites of kidney beans and tiny sliver of cornbread

Drank lots yesterday, Im sure I got in all my fluids, although I didnt measure.  Vitamins done for the most part, still working on that.  Neeed to put some in my car so that when Im away from home all day, I can still take my vitamins.

Everyone have a good rest of the day, Im off to clean house.  I think the high winds must have come thru my house, lol.  Or a tornado, looks bad, gotta fix that since its too cold to go outside, I have no excuse!!!
