Protein Shake Receipes
I do recommend getting the vanilla because they are easier to add things to (as opposed to the chocolate).
However, I don't have any shake recipes. (I have NEVER been a protein shake kind of girl.) I just suffered through my 2 week liquid pre-op diet with the plain old vanilla shakes. I didn't even add fruit or anything.
I just told myself every day..."only X many more days to my surgery" and "I'm doing this to get my surgery", etc etc etc.
Hope you get some responses with some good ideas though.

They are only limited by your imagination. Wendy is right about using the vanilla though. I use a scoop of protein powder and then add 1/2 a small banana and a 1/2 packet of of strawberry or strawberry banana crystal light, a little ice, and about 8-10 oz of water or skim milk and zap it in the magic bullet or blender. They are really yummy. You can also experiment with the flavored sugar free syrups that you can get at Wal Mart in the coffee section. Peach crystal light and banana are a good combination too. I also will add protein powder to a mug of coffee. I got a battery operated drink mixer at the liquor store for about $5 that is for mixing individual drinks and it works great at dissolving any protein powder right in your coffee mug. For a really thick shake, you can use some sugar free pudding. I've made them with chocolate sf pudding snack cup, protein powder, and skim milk and they are really good.
