Hey guys and gals, guess we've skipped over Tuesday, although I saw Wendy posted her Tuesday intake on the Monday, Monday thread.

I can understand her not posting her food intake since she  was starting to be the only one posting it. I know we're all eating.  Are we lazy, busy, embarassed by WHAT we are eating, or a combo of all of the above? I'm two out of the three....you decide which ones...LOL

I'm just about to go brave the roads. It's 10:00 and I'm hoping it's better out there than it's been.  It will be a short day at work, most folks have already gotten their colors and cuts done in preparation of the holiday, so now it's just taking care of the last minute folks. Sure hope things pick up after the new year or I'll be in deep do-do.  Saint Bella is doing pretty well, I must say. We're pleased  and blessed.

Here is my Tuesday menu.  You all have a wonderful Wednesday

1/2 bkfst sandwich with 1 slice bacon and eggbeaters.

tuna salad on 8 reduced fat wheat thins

turkey noodle soup

smart pop popcorn

Roast porkloin, couscous and snow peas

apple

latte x 3

cals: 1349  fat;  40  carb: 163  pro 107

Everyone take care!

You're the only person, outside of my British side of the family, whom I know that uses milk in their tea!

Looks like a great day food wise. Glad you were able to get out and about. The bird bath at the salon was frozen solid this afternoon at 4:00 when I left. BRRRRRRRRR is right. Just wait until next winter, you don't know what cold is yet  LOL

Hey!

My feet are freezing and I had to venture out to Wal-Mart earlier.  (We were completely out of toilet paper - so it was a HAVE TO trip.)  I still have my daughter's little friend.  She's staying with us overnight again.  They all go back to school tomorrow though.

In any event, I actually DIDN"T post my food intake for Tuesday on the Monday Monday thread.  I posted every day up through Sunday.  So now I've got to post Monday and Tuesday on this one to catch up.  (Although if it is like last time, it won't post correctly anyway.)

Here was my Monday & Tuesday intake...

Hey, I meant to tell you I had some of those, gosh, what are they called?  Nut crisps, almond crunchy, you know what I mean......I can go back through your food logs to find them. ANYWAY, I had some the other day and they are amazing. Too good, as a matter of fact. I could make a meal of them, and they are pretty $$$, so I'm just gonna leave them on the shelf at wally world.

mmmmmmmmmm  lemon creamy bite........

Glad the kiddos are going back to school. Bet I'm not as glad as you are!

Hey! So I have heard these "creamy bites" mentioned several times! What exactly are they and where can I find them? Are there flavors besides lemon?

ahhhh, creamy bites. I shouldn't tease. They're no longer made and it's unfair to those of you who don't have a chance getting them.
They are/were calcium citrate in these little crewy 1 inch square bits. You used to be able to buy them at Walmart for about $5 a box. They were perfect for a little something sweet without too much sugar, and they were the right kind of calcium too!

Well, Wendy and I have found them on e-bay and between us have spent waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much money. They came in lemon, my personal favorite, caramel and chocolate. She sent me a box of the lemon, her least favorite for Christmas. I savor them....only allowing myself one a day.

The company SAYS they're bringing them back, but that was supposed to be during the fall....I'm very sad/

If they come out again, I'll be shouting from the roof tops!!

Wednesday was wonderful, very busy, but wonderful.  Went to ElDorado yesterday morning and got contacts, took, my sister to Little Rock that night and dropped her off for a sleep study, but I felt like me again, so Wednesday was wonderful

Tuesdays menu wasnt too bad either, considering I didnt eat but 2 meals, b/c I didnt sleep Monday night till after 8 Tuesday morning, so I didnt get up untill 11:30. (gotta love steroids)

Brunch-1/2 hoagie bun toasted, S/F peach preserves, 2 small eggs, and 1 thin slice of ham, didnt eat quite all of it
Lots of coffee
Dinner-1/2 cup little tiny pasta stars and homemade spaghetti sauce w/chicken instead of beef
Lots of tea and crystal lite
1 cup popcorn for a snack

Not the best day, but I was not awake very much!!!!

I am just so excited to be back in contacts, I cant stand myself!!!

Hope everyone had a great one
Hugs,
Rhonda D.
