Important to know when you are cooking!!!!

Tried to make a pie yesterday that was on the recipe forum, the S/F turtle pumpkin cheesecake.  It called for S/F vanilla pudding and for milk.  Well the important thing to know is this.....

SOY MILK DOES NOT SET UP, YOU MUST USE REGULAR MILK!!!!!!

I didnt know this, made my pie, was so excited about the new recipe and it would NOT set up, called my mom to ask what she thought I did wrong, and she said, "Sis, soy milk doesnt set up, look on your pudding box, it will say so"
I did and its in tiny tiny writing on the bottom flap!!!!    I was soooooo mad, the pie has a great flavor, but pie is to be CUT not DIPPED!!!

Just wanted to let you know if you were going to make pudding, or use it in a recipe and had to have milk, use the real cow, the subtitute cow doenst work

Ok, that is my daily advice, lol

Apple or pretzel dip?

Well, it was sposed to be pumpkin cheesecake, but I guess it can be used for apple dip now!!!

Im gonna try again today w/the real milk and see what happens!!!
