I have a couple of boxes of the lactose free vanilla shakes and about half a box of the regular vanilla shakes leftover.  I cannot use them because since the surgery I cannot tolerate that much sugar.  I wish I could, lol, I got to really like them with some doctoring lol.  Anyway, if anyone can use them you are welcome to them - drop me an email to arrange things.

What kind of doctoring?  I am about to start my diet Thursday this week.  I was thinking about adding frozen blueberries, or something like that.  I'd say I'll take 'em, but I have plenty.  Any ideas about how to kick 'em up a notch would be appreciated!

Mmm, so many possibilities...

I tried numerous combinations, such as a couple frozen strawberries with some SF/FF chocolate pudding powder, or blueberries with cheesecake pudding.  Sometimes I did a combo of strawberry Jell-O & orange Jell-O.  Other times I just added a packet of raspberry lemonade crystal light.  Oooh, lemon gelatin and cheesecake pudding was pretty good, too.

Just play around with 'em.  Might as well have fun with it!  :)

there is an off brand at target of the crystal light.  They have one that is strawberry banana.  About 1/4 of a packet with the shakes will make them so much more wonderful.  I am 4 months out of surgery and I still have a shake when at all possible.  Now they are just with skim milk instead.  Also they will tell you that you can mix them with a small amount of broth to cut the sweet.  I had no luck with this.  I am here to tell you that was horrible!

Mainly I just added SF vanilla pudding or chocolate with ice in the blender.  Made a nice thick shake and by using the vanilla shake with a little of the chocolate pudding the choc shake wasn't to chocolatey.

But you can add frozen fruit, some add SF drink mixes.....don't be afraid to experiment :)
