HEY!
This time of the year is so crazy busy for everyone. Personally, I don't know which end is up anymore. Haven't gotten my Christmas cards even signed and addressed, although they go to work with me everyday in hope of having a spare moment to do them. All of my shopping is done, but not a single decoration adorns my home, not even the tree!
It's been an especially stressful Holiday season what with the new business, my DIL having surgery, the salon is nuts (working 10-11 hour days) and helping DIL and her sister deal with her mother's mental illness (hospitalized for it). Now I hear a mouse inside the wall of my office, chewing away as I typeThen yesterday Gary had to have a root canal to the tune of $1800
So, I'm hoping you will all forgive me for not being more attentive and active here. But please know that I'm trying really hard to keep my head above water, and at the same time I think about all of you very often. I know everyone has their own issues now, and through out the year, so I'm not trying to make my little issues a big deal as I know some are dealing with things a whole lot bigger than mine.
Just know that I consider all of you family, after all, I see and speak to you all a thousand times more than my own!
I'll pop in as I can in the next few day/weeks, but promise to be around more after the first of the year.
Here's hoping everyone has a blessed Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year.
Hope to see lots of you at the meeting tonight!

I feel ya! I got my first Christmas card from an OHer and was so excited! Then I realized I need to get moving! I love Christmas! I.love.it. I bought extra lights for outside this year. However, only the ones my husband put on the house are up. I have my tree out and a little garland, but that's it! It's usually wall to wall Christmas in my house. Between Scentsy and photography, i have been so busy I can't see straight! Everyone wants to order stuff for Christmas presents (which is very exciting) and then everyone wants their pictures done before Christmas as well! I work all weekend long since that's when I finally have blocks of time. I am hoping that after this weekend, life will slow down. That...or all the procrastinators will make my life very hectic since I can't say no and I'll end up doing pictures the weekend before Christmas and editing into all hours of the night so they can have them in time. Oh goodness....

I am a Scentsy Independent Consultant. The stuff rocks. I just started in October and I love it! They are a fairly new company and there are about 15 consultants in all of NWA which is nothing if you look at how many there are for Avon, Pampered Chef, Mary Kay, etc. People here are loving it! I passed up the opportunity to do a Bazaar at a large event so that I could attend the one in my hometown since I had yet to do anything there. It was phenomenal! Everyone loved it! I think my best advertisement is using it. When I setup at the community center, I plugged it in and the whole place smelled heavenly. What is it you ask? Wickless candles that are heated by a lightbulb in a warmer. They don't get hot enough to burn if a child or pet were to touch it (or husband...lol). It also doesn't get hot enough to release chemicals or evaporate. I will PM you my website so I don't get slapped on the hand for advertising...lol. Then you can see what it is that I speak of!

Hey Kat! My website is www.scentsy.com/shawnaterry
They make great Christmas gifts and anything ordered by Monday will be delivered in time for Christmas! Then again, if it were me, I would do as I did at Old Navy the other day...buy stuff for myself! The lady at checkout said, "This will make a great stocking stuffer!" I said, "Oh yea, I'm sure it would, but no one will get that lucky from me. This is for myself!" She laughed. I was serious...lol. What can I say, the soaps smelled really good!
