Thursday's meeting
Hey gang!
Looks like the meeting will be in Shuffield Auditorium tomorrow night. We're all going to be together for our little Holiday gathering. Not sure how many will be there since I've been saying all year no meeting in December....LOL
Anyway, Wendy's making something, I'm bringing a fruit platter, Lauren is doing veggies and dip.

I made 3 different kinds of fudge. That's not as much as it sounds like, but a little fudge goes a long way.
I made 2 different kinds of peanut butter fudge and one fudge that I'm not going to tell anyone what's in it until y'all try it. (You would have a preconceived notion of it if I let you in on it ahead of time.) That is, IF the 2nd two batches set.
The first peanut butter batch (the highest calorie batch) already set in the fridge and it cut up into chucks now. The second peanut butter batch and the mystery batch have NOT set yet. So they may be no shows if they DON'T set.
It's my first effort at making fudge (of ANY kind). I tasted batch one. It was okay - but tasted really rich. In any event, that's all I could think of that would be good even made ahead of time.

I'm sorry I can't be there tonight. Like you said, I didn't think we were having a meeting, so I scheduled an appointment for this afternoon. I can't reschedule it. I have to have it before the end of the year and they are only there on Thursdays. I'm sure I won't get out in time. We would have to leave here by 4:30 in order to make it to LR in time. I would love to come but you guys have a great time and eat some fruit for me and try Wendy's fudge. Hopefully I will see you in January. Have fun.
