Dr. visit yesterday, question about vitamins

Went to my family practice physician yesterday still feeling yucky and found out I have another ear infection and sinus infection.  They cut my atenolol in half to 25mg/day because I've been experiencing orthostatic hypotension and my heart rate is too low, 54.  She took away my Bumex which means I'll probably gain about 5-6 lbs in fluid before I level out.  I got her to increase my Zoloft so that I won't be so bummed out about that, lol.  She also recommended I start taking 2000iu of Vitamin D a day and 1000mg of Vitamin C a day along with my Calcium Citrate and multivitamin.  What does everyone else take?  Oh, she also gave me a B-12 shot and this morning I feel really energetic.  Just too sick to go for too long.  It's driving me crazy since we are trying to finish up the remodel on the living room before Christmas.  I am dying to put up the tree but can't until we are done.  Our Christmas present is going to be some new furniture pieces for the room when it's done.

Theoretically, if you were doing Vit B shots, would you then eliminate your daily B intake?  I called Addie today and got her to call in the shots for me in hopes I could drop the pills, but if it's better to just keep 'em up, then I'll do that.

If I was doing Vit B shots, I wouldn't take the pills also.  (I'd make sure that the shots were B-Complex shots though, not just B-12 with a few accompanying Bs.)
