Hey Wendy,
I'm still here. Been very busy the last few days. Had company the whole weekend. Finally got the tree up and decorated today. Also got the rest of the house decorated. Except outside. Try to get that done this weekend. Too cold outside right now. We did get snow flurries yesterday. Being from Missouri, I really miss the snow. I don't like a bunch of it, but I do like it when the ground is covered. I know here in Arkansas we get more ice than snow. YUK!!! I hate the ice. I'm terribly afraid of falling.  Anyway, just wanted to chime in and say howdy. Happy shopping to ya!!!

Hi Ann,

Most of my shopping is finished, thanks to the internet. Some of the things I ordered on Thanksgiving night have already arrived. Now I have Saint Bella supply boxes in my entry way (unopened) and Christmas packages arriving. Guess I'd best get this skinny hiny moving, huh?

I was talking to a friend yesterday who was on her cell phone. She tripped over something and I could hear her fall....phone skidded, she hollered. I felt so helpless listening to that. Fortunately, she called me right back and was ok.  First thing she said was that she didn't tear her leather jacket  lol!

We were supposed to have an insurance person come to the house last night so I was crazy cleaning most of the day. She called and cancelled. So, now that the house is clean, maybe I'll go to the storage garage and get the Christmas stuff out and up on Thursday. Then I have a place to put some of the boxes that are coming in....

Glad to see you're doing ok. Keep in touch!

Susan

HEY!!!!

Long time no post!  LOL

I am so glad to hear from you and so happy you're doing well!

I really think we may have snow soon (not flurries - REAL snow).  It's just SOOOO cold that I guess I can't imagine NOT having it really snow.

I need to put up more decorations.  I only have one snow man up besides my tree.

Good to hear from you!

Hey, we're still alive over here, too!  I've been trying to finish up my shopping, having the sniffles, and dealing with work drama.  Today was a little slower, so that was nice.  :)  I haven't been tracking the last few days, but I know it's been pretty well on-track, maybe more sodium than usual, as evidenced by my fingers swelling.  I'm stalled out right now; it's been a couple weeks since I really lost anything.  I'm seeing a pattern develop with my losses so I'm not too stressed about it right now.

Anyway, enough rambling, gotta finish cooking my Mexican chicken soup!  Y'all stay warm...

MMMMMM    Mexican chicken soup. I love soup, any kind of soup. I know we're not really supposed to have it, but I make all of mine more like stews, lots of "stuff" not as much broth, so I don't worry as much as some folks do.

Sounds like you've got lots going on.  Remember to take care of yourself!

I love soup!  I usually have it for at least one meal of the day... it's one of my major sources of protein. :)

Unfortunately, the Mexican chicken soup will not be enjoyed by me unless I sneak a bit.  I made it for my dear child, Megan, so that she may acquire some extra-credit for Spanish class.  Funny how those things work, eh?

I would LOVE a 'Bucks get-together.  I will ditto Steve, the sooner the better!  And I do need to get with you to set hair appts for me and my girls (I caved and sheared the guys myself last weekend).

Hope you have a wonderful Tuesday!

Hi!!!

Everyone knows I've been shopping like crazy but I'm trying to finish too.

My DR actually told me to add MORE salt to my diet.  He says that that is the reason that I still had occassional postural hypertension (dizziness upon standing) was because I wasn't getting enough salt into my diet.

Apparently salt is allows our cells to use/move water throughout the body.  So if you don't get enough salt, you could drink constantly and not be getting what you need.  He must be right.  I added more salt to my diet and I've not had even ONE episode of dizziness since.

PS... Mexican chicken soup sounds good!

All is well here.  Been busy with Thanksgiving and shopping.  Almost finished so we can enjoy the rest of the month.  Finishing up the decorating - have I told y'all how much I hate to decorate?  I enjoy the decorations, but I don't like getting them out or putting them away. Typical male huh?
Been eating on program - even on Thanksgiving day.  Need to start getting more exercise though - this cold weather has kept my normal outside activities down so i guess I'll have to go to the gym while its cold.  Never been a fan of the gym, but gotta do it.  Come on spring!
Haven't been on here much lately, but will try to do better.

Oh Steve, you sound like such a GUY!  When I told Gary I wanted to buy a pre-lit tree a few years ago, his reply was "well, how will we have our annual holiday argument if the tree is already lit?"  Yeah, I know how you guys are. lol

How are your pen sales going?  We got our photos done on Sunday, Gary will process them tonight and hopefully we'll have them up and running on etsy.com by the weekend. No big rush since all of our stock is at the two stores where they're being carried and we have to make more. Just getting new stock in so we'll be busy mixing and bottling this weekend.

Me thinks a Starbuck's gathering might be brewing ( yes, that was an intended pun).  Certainly before Christmas?

Take care, tell Dian hi!
