OK, where is every one.  I know we arent cooking huge amounts of food, lol.
Today is a beautiful day.  Yesterday was great, actually got out of the house and did something productive.  Went to Mikes dads and unloaded 46 bales of hay.  Yes, I actually did the unloading, I was carrying them to the barn, but I got put on the back of the truck and was throwing them to the men.  Felt good to be doing something again, but when I got home I got fussed at by my mom b/c I had done too much.  But, it just felt good to be doing something.

Today has been busy, working on the car, burning some leaves, loaded up the trash for Mike and my nephew to haul off, and now Im having some OH time while they are gone!!!!

Yesterdays food was not that good, and I paid dearly for it.

Breakfast-1/2 breakfast burrito guts from Sonic
Lunch-nothing
Snack-I was BAD!! We were at his dads and after unloading the hay got weak and needed to eat, made an AWFUL choice
Choc Covered Donut!!!!!
Dont worry, I paid for it, it made me deathly ill, didnt know if I was going to make the drive back home, I was soooooooooo sick, lesson learned, after 20 months, you still get reminded when you goof

Dinner-1/2 cup spaghetti and sauce w/1 slice garlic bread  Kept NONE of it, so later, I had 1/2 diet coke to settle my tummy

Like I said, not a good day, but learned I still am a gastric bypass patient and bad food choices do more than add padding to your butt, they make you sick!!!!!  And that is a good thing, b/c I will never ever ever reach for a donut again!!!

Hope you all have a great Wednesday!!  But come out and let us know whats going on in your world, I hate it when this board slows down to a crawl!!!

Hugs and Happy Thanksgiving,

Hi Rhonda

Glad to hear that you are back out and about.   You are due for a long haul of nothing but good things after all you guys have been through lately.  I don't know that I would classify unloading hay as a fun thing to do, but it is productive.  Glad  you were able to do it.  Now - drop the donuts please.  Just kidding - I used to think that donuts were nature's most nearly perfect food and I could put away a bunch of them.

We are busy getting ready for everyone to come to our house for Thanksgiving dinner.

Looking forward to visiting and doing a little bit of eating - I don't think the temptations will be too bad.  Just don't have a taste for those old foods anymore.

Hope everyone has a great Holiday and eats well.

Great to hear you're out and about Rhonda.  Steve, my soninlaw loves his new pen!  I have been cooking because..I'm the woman(the only female except for the animals) in this household, so apparently that's what's required...
Anyway...I'm grateful I have a nice kitchen to cook in, and the money and means to make a nice Thanksgiving dinner for my family.  (I'll be having all the boys cooking tomorrow morning)
I'm doing well after my fill, lost the 5 pounds I had gained back, so now  looking forward to the new lower numbers on the scale.  Hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow...I'd love to hear how your day goes.

I don't have much interest in the foods I used to eat either but I still love to cook.  Yesterday I made an Italian Cream Pecan Cake for my coworkers.  They gobbled it up pretty quick.  It went a long way since you can only eat a small slice at a time since it's so rich.  I have to rely on "tasters" now when I cook though, lol.  I'm working today and off on Friday.  That should give me time to make a big dent in the living room makeover.  I'm not even half way through it and I've got the bug now.  I'm thinking ahead to how I want to redo the kitchen and my bedroom next.  Everyone have a wonderful and loving day with your family and friends and know that you are all loved.  Happy Thanksgiving.
