Morning Glories!

I don't have to be at wor****il after a dermatologist appt at 10:45 this morning, so I have a bit of time to spend with you. Glad to see Jan is home safe and sound, wishing Rhonda was feeling better, and still worried about Amy R.  What a worry she is!!

Did you see Casey's post about her hair?  I'm sooooooooooooooo excited that she likes it. Hopefully it is the way everyone who uses it will feel. I have to be very careful how much I talk about it online, hence the moderators will get after me.

Alright, I have a situation. I've gained 4 lbs in a month. Not that it's necessarily bad, just a troubling trend that I'm not sure what to do about. 122 might have been a bit low, but now I'm at 125.6 and want it to STOP. I think I'll send some of my fitday.com charts off to the dietititian in Conway and see what she says. She put me at 1440 cals a day to maintain, and my average over the last month has been less than that, so I guess I'll ask the expert.

Hey!

Things here are okay.  Busy busy at the new job, which is good.  Kids are good, house is cleaner than it's been in a long time, thanks to my unemployed hubby!

I've been trying to do Christmas shopping since there are lots of sales everywhere.  It's my pitiful excuse for exercise, ha ha.  Seriously, I did ride my recumbent bike for 30 mins the other day, too.

I hope the nutritionist has some good info for you, Susan!!

Hi ladies,
Not much to post today, but I wanted to at least check in and say hello.  They say no news is good news, so I guess I am full of good news. 
Got the furnace and chimney checked out for winter this week and neither resulted in any major repairs ($$$) - now that is some good news.

I wish I had words of wisdom, but if you have read my reply to Shawna and Karens post, you know what my gripe of the week is.

I hate the weight gain, and part of me knows its just fluid and drugs, but I NEVER NEVER NEVER wanted to be able to maintain a large sized sweatsuit on my body w/o it falling off on its own.

It is quite comfy, doesnt touch me much, which I need since the steroids have me in a horrible blistery rash. 

Tummy is some better, still not empty, and remembering why I got fat, I like food, not liquids!!!!

Mikes arm is dealing him a world of misery, Im not sure his hand will ever be right again, but thankful that at least he still has a hand.  He doesnt have much use of the ring and little finger, and the hand looks like the muscle is in complete atrophy. 

We are still alive, Im going to help cook a healthy dinner.  Not sure what it will be, but I love you all, and Im glad we have each other to fuss too.

I worked from home today.  It was uneventful, but kind of dull today.  I had a lot of stuff that HAD to be done, but I had put it off because it was so tedious.  Well... I caught up on that crap today for the most part.  Actually, I'll probably spend tomorrow on the rest of it - but I'll probably get out tomorrow too.

Well, Hi Everyone!

I guess it must be a week of weight gaining issues.  I have gained back 5 of the 10 I lost after my 1st fill.  I know in part it's due to me going so long between fills.  Tomorrows the day for the 2nd one.  I hope it works.  I can eat too much food.  I kind of looked at it..and I have been eating lots of slider foods.  My carbs are ridiculously high.  OK..enough of that.  Onward..and uh..downward..on the scale..that is...

Kelley, your doing great, only one fill? Ive had 4 and get my 5th next Tuesday, yes that is 2 days before Thanksgiving. 
Iam debating wheather I should postpone my appointment till after Thanksgiving, but that seems  wrong to think that way.  I want to lose weight right?
My surgeon recomends liquids for 48 hours after a fill and then soft foods only for another couple of days, Turkey and dressing is pretty soft, right? lol
NSV yesterday...... bought pants from the regular side of Wal-Mart, passed right by the Plus size section:)

Thanks Mary Lou, I'm like you too thinking about Thanksgiving but oh well, it's nice today after my fill being able to just pass food by easily.  Keep up the good work yourself.
