Not alot to report, still very sick, having major major stomach issues due to large amounts of pain meds in the hospital.  This may be TMI, but I have survived the day by taking 1/2 bottle of Milk of Mag and finally getting relief after 6 pm tonight.  Had not been to potty since a week ago today, and never thought of it until I got out of the hospital.  Needless to say, I spent a very long and miserable night and day today, but things are moving and I am taking this opportunity to reset my pouch to proper foods and amounts of food, instead of what I want when I want.  I had blamed alot of it on stress from the job, but now I know it was mostly bad habits, so Im starting over now.

Food for today:
Wake up-Coffee
Breakfast-1 slice cheese toast (cheese and constipation, badddd idea)
Lunch-2 doses Milk of Mag (kinda gross, but true)
Dinner-1/2 cup veggie soup
Lots of ice water and sips of ice tea
Stomach is finally empty I think, so now its time to start over.  Gonna do oatmeal and soups for the next few days, get my stomach used to smaller amounts.  Wish me luck, and all newbies realize that my eating will NOT be the norm for a while.

Hugs,
A slowly mending Rhonda

P.S. Mike is doing well, we are out of going to the hospital every day for wound care, I take care of it here.  Thanks for the bell offer Steve, maybe we both need one!!!!

You know how we'll talk about anything here!  I have to take 3 stool softeners every night to keep things moving along. Hate adding anthing else to that pill box, but it beats the alternative!

Please take care and get better soon. What about your job?  Are they understanding?  Sure hope so.
