its been a while
I am here. Not very talkative.
To those who know my situation.....I am going back under the knife to fix my plastic surgery. REMEMBER TO BE AT GOAL AND MAINTAIN BEFORE HAVING ANYTHING LIFTED OR TUCKED!!!
March 07 I had the lift with implants....within that year I put on 26 pounds.....yes re-gain can and does happen.....my thyroid was messed up....so I went to the gym in march weighing 170....thats not good considering I had hit 133 and bounced around in the 140's for the most part.....ok anyhow I started working out like a wild woman on a mission and lost 20 pounds in 8 weeks and that messed up my recently reconstructed lift......they kind of sag now.....so I am basically getting them re-lifted in and in office procedure and will be totally on restrictions for 3 months. If I choose to go back to the gym if will not to become a supermodel it will be to lead a healthy life. It seems as tho my body likes the 140-150 area but my mind does not......
ok so anyhow 21-Nov is my procedure and it takes 1-2 hrs and will only cost 300.00 since I already spent 8400.00 last year.
My advice......
#1 be where you want to be with your weight before getting plastics unless you must do it for health reasons.
#2 sometimes our body knows where our weight should be and our mind does not.....no sense in fighting it......you can do more damage than good. So once your as far post op as I am you will see that the weight loss slows or stops and becomes harder to lose and sometimes your body just says enough. So at this point you must come to grips with 170 is better than 300.....your body will let you know. Do not restrict your calories....your metabolism will shut down and you may even gain. Its better to eat healthy and work out......
#3 WOMEN............if you get your girls lifted or implanted.....YOU MUST WEAR BETTER BRAS AND WHILE WORKING OUT WEAR WELL FITTING SPORTS BRAS. YOU SHOULD NOT BE WIGGLING AND JIGGLING ALL OVER THE PLACE......THEY SHOULD SIT FIRM AND HAVE LITTLE MOVEMENT. Even with surgery we can eventually sag and drag and look like we have 36longs instead of 36D's....
#4 just be thankful......you have been blessed.
thats all I have to say for today. I am going to crawl under my rock here in Marion and see what tomorrow has in store for me.......as for today.......work work work. at least the sun is out.....too bad there is no snow......I am still a yankee at heart...............

I am not doing so good in this part of my journey...9 yrs later. :-(
Hi Tammy! I was getting on here this morning to PM you to check on your situation when I saw your post! I hate that you have to go through another procedure but at least it can be fixed without having to spend too much money! Full restriction for three months.....what does that mean exactly? You know I am really curious considering that I will be going through this before too long! AND you are exactly right with all of your tips that you posted! That is basically what my doctor told me last week when I went in for a fill! I was questioning him about plastic surgery and he told me almost everything you just said! Anyway, just wanted to say hi! Take care of yourself!

full restrictions....he said I will be doing nothing......so I assume nothing means nothing more than walking......at a slow pace..........
I will keep you posted and thank you so much for the concern. It is nice to know you care. Be sure to keep me posted as well on yourself.

Tammykins, how nice to see you back!
I've thought about you a lot this weekend, even thought about calling, then would get sidetracked with other things. I'm easily distracted these days!
Sorry you're feeling down, but getting the girls taken care of should make you feel a little better, well, not physically for a time, but mentally.
Keep us posted. $300 seems like a deal to me!
hugs from all of us here in Alexander!
