moments I never get tired of

I went to my sons bowlng tournament today to support him. ( he is a part of the PBA). Well his ex girlfriend was there also with her BF. My son lived with her till right after I had surgery. Anyhow I walked over to her and said hi how are you doing. She looked up and said Hi i'm ok. ( i could see the who the heck are you look) so I ask her. " you don't know me do you" she said I don't think so. I told her I'm Scott's mom. She looked up and said : OMG I didn't recognize you.
I think I really love those moments. This isn't the 1st time this has happened. I makes me feel so good. These moments boost my self esteem and give a great since of accomplishment.

That's so cool Carla! What a great feeling. I had to laugh yesterday because Sue at Dr. Roller's office was convinced she hadn't met me before but she did my pre-op visit! It's just that my hair is different and I had no makeup on for my pre-op. Oh yeah and the 60 pounds makes a difference!
