Hi everyone,

Hope you survived Halloween with no lasting scars.   It was good to see so many posts to our thread yesterday.   Makes it more fun when more people post.

I really enjoyed playing golf yesterday.  What a beautiful day to be outdoors.  Great for the trick-or-treaters as well.  Hope everyone avoided eating too much candy.

I am going to start restaining the deck this weekend.  Not my favorite thing to do, but it needs a new coat before winter.  Just can't convince Dian that she should do it - can't understand why she won't.

We all get an extra hour to sleep tonite. It's nice to get the extra hour, but I sure hate to see it get dark so early.

Hope you all have great weekend.  Let us know what you are doing and eating.

Good morning,
Thanks for reminding us about the time change.  I had forgotten it w/all we have had go on this week.
Yesterday was ok, Mikes still really messed up and in lots of pain.  Looks like we may have to make a trip to the ER again today.  His hand is swollen really bad, which I expected, but now it has little white spots on it, and hurts worse than the bad bad cut.
Keep us in your prayers, he is diabetic so this really scares me.

Food yesterday was so so.  I havent really had an appetite the last few days,  Eating b/c I have to, not b/c I want to.

Breakfast-None, just coffee
Lunch- 4 bites of boneless chicken breast and 2 bites of broccoli, water chestnuts, and bean sprouts
Dinner- 1/4 cheese burger from Sonic, meat, cheese, pickles, and bun (bottom only) and 3 french fries
No snacks yesterday
1 glass diet pepsi, crystal lite and coffee
Not a good day, but maybe when I get well and Mike gets better, I'll be better, Ive gone from eating all the time at work to making myself eat, and then when I do eat, I just feel sick.  Any suggestions??? Im open!!!

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great Halloween and you are having a great weekend so far! It is absolutely gorgeous outside today (at least in my part of this beautiful state)! Nice temperatures and nice sunny skies! I wish every day was like this....with the exception of a few SNOW days of course! LOL!

My food has been a little better today.....able to eat only small amounts but was able to eat mostly protein so far so thats better than the past few days.....most any meat that I eat lately has decided that it does not want to stay down so it comes right back up! Sorry, I'm sure that was way too much infomation!!

B- scrambled egg (almost all of it....not quite tho)

L-about 1oz of cheddar cheese

D-grilled salmon and maybe an egg (weird I know but lots of protein which is what I need right now and its soft so it goes down easier......just hope it will stay in my tummy long enough for me to get some nutrients from it!!)

Ok.....I'm gonna say bye now that I am sure that I thoroughly grossed everyone out! LOL! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Enjoy this beautiful weather while it lasts!

We survived Halloween fairly well.  Had lots of trick or treaters so the candy disappeared without me eating too much of it, although I did have more than I should have.  Then to boot this morning my boss brought in donuts...but I managed to look the other way and keep on working. Very nice weather..this is my most favorite time of year..no doubt about it.  Things are quiet here..just 1 kid at home..but he's itching to go to his friends house.  Thing I need to do tomorrow is clean this house.  At least the Halloween decorations are put away for the year.
Hope you all have a great weekend.

Halloween went pretty well here.  No candy at our house, but all (even the teens) seemed to appreciate the popcorn balls, fruit snacks, play-doh, and tattoos I was giving out.  I snacked on a couple pieces of sugar-free candy throughout the night and I snuck one 3 musketeers mini from my kids' stash, but I got scared after that and didn't delve back into the bowl.  My hubby and Megan have been into it more than the little kids, so I figure by this time next week all that will be left is the stuff nobody likes.

Speaking of outdoor projects, I really need to overhaul my garden.  It has been sorely neglected since my surgery.  I'm sure I can plant a little something to grow this fall.
