Good Morning Friends

Looks like we have a coffee time working for Monday.  If you haven't seen the details there is a post by Jan about it.  Hope to see you there.

Today is my 30th anniversary at Alltel.  Guess that shows how old I'm getting to be.  Gonna have a little celebration this afternoon complete with cake and punch (uh oh).  Hope I don't get drunk on either one. On second thought, perhaps abstinence is best.

Hope everyone is eating and supplementing well.   If not, please accept this as a friendly reminder to do just that.   It's clear from the results we see that all of us are doing pretty well with compliance, but it is easy to let things slip if we don't keep after it.

Happy 30th anniversary, Steve! 

Things are just skipping along in my world.  I got all excited because I found a chewable calcium supplement that seemed okay, but I neglected to make sure it wasn't calcium carbonate... it is, so, sadly, it will be going to someone else.  Boohoo. ;-)

Teen daughter and I had a fun afternoon.  We made a quick trip to the mall and mostly browsed.  She was in a really good mood!  Two days in a row, I don't know what to think, LOL.

I am actually starting to feel a little better today.  I still called in sick for 8 out of 9 hours today.  But I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. 

After 3 days on z-pack and 3 days of roceprin (spelling?) shots, it is definately TIME for me to be feeling better.  I still have 2 days of z-pack and 2 shots left (one at lunch tomorrow and one late Friday afternoon).  But I am at least convinced now that I'm not dying of some bird flu ebola virus or something anymore.  I actually plan on working tomorrow for the FULL DAY which I don't FEEL like I've done in FOREVER (because I've taken so much sick time off the last week or 2 with this sinusitis-turned-strip-throat-turned-horrible-chest-cold-turned-combination-chest-cold-and-sinusitis-etc). 

I'm finally feeling a LITTLE bubbly tonight... so I'm thinking by Friday I'll be BACK completely.
