What's Up Monday
Hi everyone,
Hope you had a great weekend. Not much new from me. What's new with you? What are you eating - something good I hope. Any good food ideas to share? I could use some new ideas.

Hi all,
Well, today my weekend is over. Last week at work was so crazy busy I didn't know what end was up. But, considering I'm self-employed and the way the economy is, I'll take all I can get. Only trouble is that after all this time of no "trouble" with my bad ankle, it was swollen the size of my head by Sat evening. It was better yesterday, but I did a lot of running around today and it's all puffed up again. So, I've got the ace wrap on it now and will probably wear it for a few days. Maybe it's just telling me enough is enough.
My son started his new job at Blue Cross of AR today. Man, what a great place to work!! His benefits are free and he only pays $65 a month for his wife's coverage. HMMMMM maybe if this hairdressing gig doesn't work out
Any way, as far as the food department goes, I haven't been all that good about eating the last couple of days. Must get back on track about that. Don't want my new Fall clothes to be too big before I get a chance to wear them!
Sunday:
Latte x 2 hey.....it was Sunday!
Mini bagel w/ FF cream cheese and 2 slices of deli roast beast
PB&J on double fiber bread
Latte hey.....it was Sunday!!!
Moroccan lentil soup (don't ask, not good), fresh bread from Sylvick's
2 servings of SBD Tide me over
all vitamins, and fluids
cals: 1163 fat: 28 carbs: 183 pro: 71

Sorry to hear about your ankle. We just can't have that. Hope it gets better quickly.
Looks like you have the same affinity for lattes that I do. If I had to, I think I could get by for a while on just lattes. Don't tell Dr Baker though - I just don't talk about caffeine with him. A guy has to have something and caffeine seems like a pretty mild vice.

Thanks for the good wishes about the ankle. It's starting to worry me.
I saw my Ortho's nurse on Saturday and was bragging about how well I was doing, in spite of all the doom and gloom prognosis he had given me. Guess that's what you get for bragging, huh? If it doesn't stop this nonsense I'll have to eat crow and go see him. Damn, hate to have to do that!!
Fortunately, Dr Gibbs doesn't have a problem with his patients having caffeine. Up until I reached goal I still drank coffee and had an occasional latte. Now that I need ways to get calories in I don't even like regular coffee anymore and have become a latte addict!
When Gary and my son both worked at 'Buck's they wanted to buy an espresso machine when they went on sale during the holidays. For a period of time, partners get 40% off everything, so they pooled their tips and bought one. I thought they were out of their minds( mind you, not a long trip) to spend $300 for this dang thing. Well.....guess who's the one who uses it at least once, if not twice a day now? If we didn't have it at home I would have spent that much, plus, by buying them everyday.
Too bad it's so close to bed time......
