Question about Dr. Gibbs

Does anyone know what pre-op tests he orders/does? I live 3 hrs away and they are going to schedule my pre-op tests the day before my surgery. I was diagnosed with GERD and I am wondering if I should go ahead and see my PCP and have an EGD done to make sure I don't have any ulcers. I don't know if Gibbs will order one that day before my surgery or what? Anyone know? BTW I just figured out how to post here, so I will try to post more...Thanks Amanda H.
