I've finally been approved!!!

After 2 denials and my 2 appeals, I am finally appproved!  I wrote my own appeal letters because my surgeon does'nt get involved in the appeals. I faxed them my sleep studies proving I have sleep apnea, and in less than a day I was finally approved. Im in shock right now, I just don't know what to say except thank you all for your support, encouragement(sp), and prayers!!!  It has meant more to me than anything.  This site has been my support group for the last 5 years because my sugeon and support group are 3 hours away.  I truly believe that all your prayers had something to do with my getting approved.  Thanks OH Family!  I am on cloud 9 right now.  Kim from my HR Dept. called me to tell me the good news. I don't have a date just yet, my surgeons office called today, and said they will call me next week with a surgery date. I am praying for everyone out there that is waiting for approval and that have been denied.  If you are pre-op, don't ever give up and fight for your life because insurance companies want you to give up! I know it is a long hard battle with the insurance company, I have been fighting with different ones through the years.  I can't wait to start my journey!  Much Love, Amanda H.

Yep He knows how bad I need this surgery to improve my health, but he says he loves me fat or thin.  He is my rock and so supportive!  (((hugs))) Manda

That's great!!!  It's a process sometimes but well worth it.  Keep us updated when you get the date.  We want to hear from you.
