They didn't believe me!
Hello Everyone,
I went to the revenue office last week to get a new drivers license - what an experience! I'm sure like many of you, my picture didn't look like me and since I was taking a trip, I knew that I didn't want any identity issues with airport security. Any-who, long story short.......they truly didn't think my current license was me and were trying to tell me I would have to go "downtown" and make an appeal (whatever). After a couple of calls to the head office, being scrutinized by a supervisor that claimed he had to use his "fraud training" to identify me and lots of embarrassment, I'm finally the proud owner of a new driver's license that looks like me. Holy cow! Has anyone had this happen to you?

smile, it's a good thing! I keep waiting for it to happen because:
a) I looked like I was smuggling marshmallows in my DL picture
b) I went to get a new one for address purposes and didn't think they would take my picture, I was pissed when they did and it shows on my face
I no longer have those chubby cheeks and am usually a pretty happy person! No such luck just yet. I see people quite frequently who don't recognize me. My friends say that they can't even remember what I looked like "fat". However, they are required to say these things. I haven't had the official flattery of my old self being rejected in an important situation where I have to argue that I am really that person!
