What's up - Tuesday
Morning All,
Hope everyone in off to a good start this week. It was good to hear from everyone yesterday. Lots of busy people here.
Nothing much new for me this week. Pretty routine. Still waiting to hear something about the future at work. I guess no news is good news since that means continued employment for another week. This waiting around for the firing squad is not much fun though. As you can imagine, attitudes aren't the best around there these days. I'll have thirty years in next week. I've worked with a lot of really super people (and a limited few that were not so super), It will be sad to see so many good folks go out the door.
They just did a feature on food at the fair on the morning news. Talked about all the good protein foods they have - too bad they were nearly all deep fried. I think i just gained four pounds from watching this report.
Anybody up for a coffee get-together later this week? Let's see who is interested and get something scheduled. My schedule is pretty flexible, so let me know when you can make it if you are interested and we will pick a time and place that works for the most of us.

Well, here I am again, too many calories. I did walk for an hour yesterday though. I'm having trouble with the 3-11 shift. Wanting to eat again in there staying up so much later now. Need to watch that. At this rate I won't make the 100 lbs lost by Christmas like I wanted.

Yesterday was pretty quiet here. My 14yo daughter thinks she has a brain tumor, but I think it's more likely sinusitis/allergies since they are doing construction at her school. Yes, she's a bit of a drama queen. We have an appointment Friday anyway. I took my son to the orthodontist today and got the inevitable verdict that he'll need braces, too; fortunately, we have a few years to start saving. I'm sure the little one will be right behind him. This is one of those times I'm glad the kids aren't closer together in age. ;-)
Anyway, here's what I ate yesterday:

Pretty ok day for 1st day back to work after the "holiday". Lots of mail to deliver though. I started at 7:30 am and didn't finish until 6:40 pm. They called and want me in early at 6:30 am tomorrow..good thing is..I'm off Thursday - Sunday..took a couple of days off..since my sons have a band competition on Saturday at War Memorial. I'm going out with my girlfriends Saturday nite too. I did better on food today..and just have to finish my exercise for the day at 9 tonite.
