Ya'll Cross Your Fingers For Us!!!

Not that I've been checking the Humana website everyday or anything...but checked (again) this morning and saw that our requests for authorizations from Dr. Gibbs have been submitted and our status is currently "P" for "Pended".  I'm being optimistic since there wasn't a capital "D" for Denied!!!

Please send happy thoughts our way...we're excited and have been hanging on a string for weeks!!!!

woot woot. You'll get the "A". We knew my husband would get approved the whole time we waited on his to come back, but I was still a nervous wrec****il I got the call. Keep on them and give them a phone call every couple of days to let them know you're anxiously waiting!

Happy thoughts coming your way.  Have you done all your pre  op testing so if you get approval you can have surgery before the year end?

My daugher has been approved!!!!!!!!!!!!  Mine is still "pending"...

We haven't had any of the pre-op testing, so I guess they will arrange all of that when they call to schedule her surgery.  Now I'm wondering, if we BOTH get approved, who should go first?  Should I go first so I'll have a little experience and we'll know what she'll be going through, or should she go first while I'm 100% and can really help her out?

Now just gotta wait for Dr. Gibbs' office to call and schedule everything.  I'm sooooo happy and excited and a weeee bit nervous and scared....emotional overload! (But in a good way!)
