Made me cry!!!!

Just wanted to share a smile with you all.  Some of you know that I have a troubled nephew that stays w/Mike and I quite a bit.  Well, he has never been one to pass out compliments or to say he loves you.  Maybe hes told me 3 times in his 16 years of life.
He came and stayed w/us this weekend, and Friday evening after I got home from work, he told me how nice I looked, over and over.  So after I changed clothes we went to Wal-Mart and he asked me why I looked so nice at work and wanted to Bum out for him and the big guy!!  We had a good laugh over that, but the best part is this.
We were headed for bed, and he came over and told me he loved me.  I said, I love you too buddy.  He was like, "No, I really love you!" I said, Ok, what'cha want?? and he said, Nothing, just wanted you to know I love you and appreciate what all you have done for me!!!!!  So I promptly went to the bathroom and had a good cry!!! 
Gratification, I am a good aunt after all and not a mean old woman!!!  Just wanted to share, cuz now I'll smile all day!!

Wow Rhonda,  What a great experience.  Having a 16 year old boy tell you that he loves and appreciates you really reflects on the kind of person you are.  Not many people ever get those kind of kudos.  Congrats and enjoy.  You obviously deserve it.

I think that's just what you need....I know Mr Mike tells you all the time how special you are, but Steve is right, when a 16 yr old BOY says it, it's very special.

OMG, how special is that? 

OMG I would have cried to.  Even for a normal 16 y/o it is rare to hear I love you or a compliment.  That makes me all goosebumpy reading this.
