Good morning one and all!

Yippppepeeepepepepepe  I'm off today!  Yep, still in jammies, but that's changing as soon as I'm done here. Things to do, people to see.

Here's my day yesterday. Wasn't as busy at work as I though I'd be and fortunately, I didn't snack like I sometimes do when I'm bored.  Old habits?  Yep, still have to fight those demons, but at least now when I snack it's not a whole bag of something!!

Leftover Chinese from Monday and Tuesday.  This is the bad part about eating a cup of food at a meal. Leftovers never seem to go away. My mom would say they are now offically "worn outs" not leftovers  LOL

Good morning!

Things are chugging along over here.  We're adjusting to the new school year, this time with all three rugrats (14, 8, & 4yos) in school and the associated activities.  Days are busy, to be sure.

The kids have been sick off and on, but they've all had a turn or two now so I hope it's OVER.  Last night I had a mini-WOW moment.  I was putting a movie on for my baby girl, and she jumped on my back.  Instead of falling over from the extra weight and dying like I would have done before, I pulled her on up and "horsed" around with her on the floor.  And when we stopped a few minutes later, I wasn't even out of breath!!!!!  It felt so good to be able to play with my kiddo.

Anyway, here's what I ate yesterday.

Breakfast - I skipped, we were in a hurry and I forgot my piece of cheese.

Lunch - small amount of chicken breast and side salad w/ranch from Wendy's (more today for lunch)

1st dinner attempt - bit of chicken soft taco insides w/salsa, came back up

2nd try at dinner - some cheeto puffs (BAD me) and 1/2 a toasted turkey sandwich w/pepper-jack cheese 

Snack - skinny cow ice cream pop and a SF popsicle

Well, back to the real working world yesterday.  I guess the good part of that is that routine is sometimes good, even if it isn't fun.  Pretty good food numbers yesterday, though I had to down some protein late to get up to targets.  I wouldn't have ever thought it could be hard to get enough calories in, but it is.  Not complaining though, just hard to remember how easy it used to be to eat way too much.  Hope everyone enjoys this great September weather.  It's pretty hard to beat.

Hey Steve,

Man, I hear ya with the whole "getting in the calories" routine.  I got super busy yesterday, barely got in 1300 cals (PB&J at 8:30 last night) and dropped a pound overnight. Guess I'll order a whole milk latte on the way to work today LOL

Glad you and Diane had a good vacation. Back to reality now.
