Good morning!

Man, I hated it when that alarm clock went off this morning, I was sleeping so soundly. But, some idiot (me) booked an early appointment  this morning, so I had to get up early. I feel a little cranky

Other than have to go to work early and stay late, not much going on.  I'm looking forward to tomorrow off. Maybe I'll just have a jammie day (yeah, right)

Spoke to Wendy for a minute last night. Her mom is doing well and might get to go home today. YEAHHHH another loser on the bench!

Here's Tuesday.

Went to my first support group meeting in Springdale last night.  I really enjoyed it.  I probably won't get to go to many since I am now working the 3-11 shift.  I have been doing much better with my eating now that I make myself write everything down and track it through the day.  I'm up to 2.5 miles/day now with my walking.

Breakfast:  Coffee with protein powder

Lunch:  1/2 cup lettuce with chopped ham and grated cheese with salad vinegar

Snack:  3 jalapeno peppers stuffed with ff cream cheese and cooked in the toaster oven. wa

Supper:  O.K., I blew it here:  three layer nachos from Taco Bell.  It was a treat and it tasted really wonderful.  My dh was tickled too since it only cost $0.89 to feed me, lol.

Evening snack:  Protein bar to get in the rest of my protein for the day.

Drank all my water and took all my supplements.  I think it's time to cut back on the B/P meds. It is running too low and I'm tired.  Heart rate is low too.  Will call the MD to get it ok'd.

Hello Friends,
Returned from vacation to Ohio last night.  Had a great visit with some old friends and family that I hadn't seen for 10 years or more in some cases.  Also got to take Dian to an Ohio State football game on Saturday.  Boy, did that bring back memories!
Didn't log my food while I was gone, but kept pretty well on target.... probably came up a bit short in most areas.... back to tracking today.   Sure hated to return to work today, but we all gotta do it.  Too bad we can't just get paid and be on vacation all the time.
Sounds like a good time was had by all at The Walk.  Kudos to Susan for all the hard work.  Hated to miss it, but the Buckeyes got priority this year.  I'll plan better next year.
Got my 6 month lab results in the mail while I was gone and all were very good.  I am very thankful to all of you for the accountability provided here as I know I need it to stay on track.
Good to get away, but also get to get back home.  The old bed felt pretty good after a week in hotels with worn out mattresses.
