Hey.....I'm BACK!!

Hey everyone!

Well, I"ve been MIA the last week or so. Very busy getting ready for the big WALK, and boy, was it worth it!!

We had 200 register, not sure how many feet were actually hittin' the pavement, but there were lots of folks there.  Saw Ann, Evelyn, Rodeo, Casey, Annette, Sherry and Johnnie, and of course, our very own Tammy with the TaTa's.  She came in from Marion on Friday night and we had a great time. I'm so sorry you all didn't get a chance to have some time together, but I'm so lucky to have been able to see you, and spend some with Tammy, too.

I know I've been bad about the "What are you eating" thread, but I'll be back on track now. Sure hope you all have been doing well with your journies, sipping, walking, journaling, whatever!

Thanks for the nice words about the walk. Sure hope you all had as much fun as I did.

Susan.......I owe you many thanks for opening your home up to me. Attending the walk brought me back to my early days of being post op and what it is all about. I was inspired by many. I felt like I belonged there with my own type of people. It is so hard to be somewhere where you are the only one......or at least the only one who makes it public.

I really enjoyed the time we spent talking friday nite and my new boyfriend Baxter.....The walk was great....even tho I did not walk it I felt honored to be 7 yrs out and to be there. Like I said it means more to me to run the table you had set up than to walk because I know I can walk it and to some people that is their goal to walk that mile.......I would never take that away from anyone.....I have been there and know the importance of those early goals and accomplishments.
