VSG anyone?
Wow! That is great. I am going to Mexico to do my surgery since my insurance (Walmart) will not pay a dime for it. I am glad there is at least a good doctor in AR that has done a few!
What can you tell me about after the surgery? What staples did you use as far as foods/liquids? Where did you get the stuff if anywhere other than Walmart?
Thanks!

The surgery was easier that I expected. I had very low energy for 5 weeks, but I didn't have any trouble eating or keeping food down.
I did the chocolate soy stuff from Walmart. I got very tired of it by the end of 2 weeks and I've not tasted it since.
My surgery was self pay also. It's sad that insurance companies don't help.
When and where are you having your surgery?

We had someone not long ago who had VSG in Mexico, her name is Lisa, if you look to the left you should see a list of all kinds of links, near the top one says Member List, you should find her there and I am sure she wouldn't mind if you asked her any questions, I think she mainly hangs out on the VSG board, but she is really nice lady.
