OK, you all are family, and family takes care of family, right?? Yep, I knew you would.

Seems like lately its all been bumps in the road for me.  I try not to complain on here, dont wanna scare off newbies or recent patients.  But here is the deal.  I have battled my eating for the last 2 months, have gained some weight, due to the way I have had to take care of some of my physical ailments.  The last month or so Ive gotten really lax.  Today is the day I have started over, but just want prayers and encouragement.  I cant come to the walk due to my job, I have been off work 3 days this week due to full blown tonsilitis, last week it was kidney stones!!! Wonder where it ends.

Just wanted to let you all know so you could talk to me, lift me or whatever.  Susan always says she cant help me if she doesnt know there is a problem.

TO ALL NEWBIES:::
This is not normal for all, and my other health issues have played into mine. Please stay dilligent and you will be fine.

Thanks in advance,
Rhonda D. the down one

Hey Rhonda,
Keep the chin up deery!!! Things will get better. Just look at how far you have come. I for one admire you for all that you have been through. Sometimes nature just takes it's own course on us and shuts us down. But we always get back up and so will you. Sorry you can't be there Saturday. Was looking forward to seeing you. You take care and I'm sending big hugs and lots of prayers your way...

Rhonda,

You don't know me, but I remember hearing you speak right after my surgery at one of the support group meetings.  You were so inspiring and still are.  Keep your chin up.  You will get through this.

You can get back on track Rhonda.  I know you can.

Are you journaling your food?  Measuring your meals by volume?  Limiting sugars and empty calories?

You can do it!

Keep your chin up - AND, be assured prayers are headed up as we write.  You don't know me but I have read your profile and admire you greatly for all you have done and for as far as you have come.  We all have setbacks BUT, as I'm sure you've heard before,
"Just get back in the saddle."  And remember, if you are having too much trouble getting back in the saddle, remember that God answers all prayers, but sometimes it's not the answer we are looking for at that particular time.  KEEP THE FAITH!!!!!!!

OK girlfriend, you know what to do, just do it!  You've had so many stressors lately it's no wonder you are finding yourself a bit off track.  Cut yourself some slack and know that you recognize you are having a problem and you are going to do something about it.  Get back to your routine and take it a day at a time.  We are all pulling for you.  I have been fighting myself the past month also being extremely stressed out and just wanting to stuff my face out of habit.  I met a woman who is 4 years out and is well on her way to gaining her weight all back.  I sat and watched her eat a huge plate of mexican food and thought to myself that but for the grace of God, there goes me.  We are all working too hard to get our health back and be able to enjoy life again to let life kick us in the ass.  I  know you can do this and so do you.  It will get better.  We are family and we love ya.
