anyone in arkansas forum with fibromyalgia???
Wow....we have a lot in common! Except you are much younger and not all that big! Do you teach resource or self-contained? What age? I think your girls are precious! You look great too! Thanks for the compliments! My grandkids are my joy! God gave me one of the greatest blessings ever when he gave me grandbabies!!!
If I were ever to have another daughter (not planning-DH fixed) it would have to have Leigh in it somewhere....it is just the prettiest name....maybe Ahna Leigh??
I have taught inclusion and resource, but I am currently teaching CBI-severe/profound/medically fragile. I have 4 students and 2 adult paraprofessionals at CHS. I have 17-20 year olds at the moment. I am going to do it one more year and then see where I want to go. If I feel physically better I may stay on, if not, I may look into moving back into resource or going down to middle school medically fragile.
Being young is not all it is cracked up to be. Fibro is fibro. I think it might be worse younger b/c you can't do what you want to with your kids....too tired or hurting too much. I hate to tell my daughters to not sit on my or lean up on me, but sometimes it just hurts too much.
Thanks for your comments :). I have been up to 260, but got some of the weight off with UAMS program, but of course, it has went up and down a bit since stopping that. I am 220-230 right now. Depends on whatever is going on with my body. I have to find the right amount of exercise or I gain weight from swelling, if I exercise too little I gain weight from not doing enough. It is crazy. I am looking into tai chi or maybe even a wii and wii fit. Water exercise is the best for me though! I love the pool! I wear a lot of clothes in it and I don't care! A lot of people are bigger and hairier (men that is) than me, so I am ok with that. I have a good water fit instructor. She does 4 days of aerobic/weights and 2 days of water stretching/balancing. Some days I just go and get in the water and it is just like the pain and muscle tiredness melt away. But, like everything else, you can over do it.
Well, my house actually did get somewhat clean this weekend and I need to get into bed in order to wake up in the am.
Nice talking to you!
