I finally got some good news

I have finally been approved to have my lap band surgery with Dr. Wellborn in little rock. My surgery date is Sep 26th. I just want to thank all the people on here for there advice and support through this hole journey. On friday I start my 2 week liquid diet I no this is going to be tough but I have come this far I am going to do what they say. I have been trying to get this done for over a year now so it is all coming together. I just need one other thing from all of you and that is to say a little prayer for me that everything will be alright I am already getting excited and nervous and scared all at once I didnt think that was possible. I no I am doing the right thing and I just hope that I cant be successful at this because I have failed at all the diets so many times before.

I know you will do just fine. Only normal to feel all those things you are feeling. Believe me, I felt all those things too. Good luck, and I'm saying prayers for you.

Congratulations!  The 2 week liquids really isn't so bad.  You will start dropping pounds with it..that's the part I liked.  You'll be glad you had the diet beforehand as it really helps after surgery to be in the habit to eat right and not cheat.  Good luck!
