Morning my friends,

Well, yesterday was too beautiful for me to stay inside.  I had that big break in my day so I walked Two River's Park.  Took my pedometer, iPod and my bottle of water and went 2.3 miles!!  It was wonderful.  Listened to Oldies and marching band music (yes, I'm a band geek), walked and whistled and thanked the Lord for the beautiful day and the ability to be out enjoying it.  Life is indeed good!

Had a good eating day too.....here goes:

Latte

mini whole wheat bagel w/ ff cream cheese and 2 slices turkey ham.

Starbuck's Vivano

leftover shrimp creole

1/2 PB&J

Ka****urkey fiesta sandwich

watermelon

2 servings of South Beach Diet Tide Me Over drink packets ( 30 cals, 10 grms pro,5 grms fiber)

cals:  1522   fat: 49, carbs:  215  Prot:  96

lots of water, all my vitamins......Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Morning glory!!!

Yesterday was an ok day.  No complaints, I wasnt in a courtroom all day or typing court notes inside and office, so life was great.

Got up late, did some laundry, rode with Mikey too look at a grey mare we are gonna buy.  On the way home, stopped by the barn to visit a while, made a trip to the feed store (I go there more than the grocery store, lol.  Maybe my horses need Roux N Y  JUST KIDDING)  Stopped by sonic.

Came home, fed the bird, changed into nice clothes and went to Eldorado, and there I hit the freaking jackpot!!!!  If anyone is a sweater junkie like me, go to the thrift stores TODAY and buy sweaters.  I bought 8 sweaters yesterday for $1.55 each.  Monday they go back to $4.00!!!!  Still not a bad price, but you all know me, Im the bargain gal.  Anyway, got 8 sweaters, 3 pair of shoes a belt, a purse, 2 blazers and a Halloween vest all for, are you ready for this???

All for $43!!!!!!!!!

Went to eat Chinese at a new restaurant, I wish them the best, but I'll not go back, everything tasted the same and seemed sweet, even the stuff that was sposed to be spicy!!!  Mike said only thing NOT sweet to him was the ice cream.

Anyway, as far as food, here we go...
Wake up coffee

Breakfast Half bacon breakfast burrito minus excess tortillia

Snack SF angel food cake

Lunch  mmmm, nothing, oops just realized that, was drinking tea like crazy

Dinner Chinese food

Snack SF angel food cake

All vitamins done!!!!  Walked all over thrift store, wal mart and to moms and back, so better than NO exercise.

Off to church, see all you good folks later.

Hugs and love to all,
Rhonda D. (who still has no cell phone)

I am a TOTAL thrift store maniac since my surgery.  (Where else can you afford to buy clothes every week when you need them???)

Abilities Unlimited in Hot Springs is my favorite.  They are SOOOO super cheap.  You do have to sort through everything because they take/sell ANY clothes that are donated (even with tears, rips, stains, spots, etc).  So you have to really look to find the good stuff - but it is there.

They have 1/2 price sales pretty frequently and you can pick up items for 62 cents each (for most clothes that would be half price of the normal $1.25 each).  I usually come out with a garbage bag full on those days.  I figure even if I don't wear something.... it was 62 cents for pete's sake.  I can sell it through the consignment store I sell my clothes at for more than that (and make me a little money for next shopping trip)!!!

Hi Susan! And everyone one else!! Hope you are all having a great day! The weather is amazing....if only it could be just like this year round. That would be wonderful!

Here's my food for the day:

Breakfast- none....I got up too late and had to hurry to make it to church one time!

Lunch- chicken salad and whole wheat crackers

Snack- popcorn (mini bag)

Dinner- pork roast and potaotes and carrots...might ea a bite of cornbread too!

I have drank all of my water plus more today! Taken all of my vitamins...the calcium is about to kill me though! I hate to take that!

I also exercised twice today!! Can you believe it? I walked two miles with my brother on the track after church and then I just got back from walking three miles with a friend of mine so I have actually walked a total of five miles today! I'm actually not tired at all. Feel great!

Anyway, hope everyone is well! Take care and have a great last day of this beautiful weekend!

Beautiful day.   Worked outside most of the day and took our Golden Retriever for a nice long walk at the lake.
