Good afternoon, my friends!

Well, today is really just another day off for me, it's my Sunday. It's been nice having Gary home, but poor guy, got recruited to help me clean the garage. Seems this new found energy is contagious.  We got about half of it done before lunch, and I thought we'd just kind of stop and he wanted to fini**** So.....6 big bags of trash and my car is full of stuff for Civitan tomorrow. Maybe someone from the Gulf will need it???

Anyway, here's what yesterday's food looked like:

2 lattes (1%milk)

1/2 english muffin with poached egg, artichoke heart and hollandaise sauce (on the side)

banana

1/2 turkey ham sandwich on double fiber bread

Corn chowdr, 1/2 dinner roll

apple

watermelon

almost 100 oz water, all vitamins/supplements

So....what's up with you?

Susan

Hi Susan and all,
Just a quiet Labor Day for me.  Did a little shopping this morning - Dillards had some nice summer stuff 75% off so I picked up a few real bargains.  Just chilled this afternoon.
Back to work tomorrow.
Looks like a wet week ahead.  Try to stay dry.
Steve

Good job on your meal planning and finding the sales!  75% is ALWAYS good.

Be safe while you're out driving this week....it's gonna be ugly

Wendy, please be careful with the nasty weather coming.  It's going to make driving quite the adventure!

Hope your week is a good one

Hi everyone!  Enjoying the first 3 day weekend I've had all summer.

Breakfast:  huevos rancheros (1/2 c)

Lunch:  Ham and cheese roll-up

Snack:  almonds

Supper:  3 oz steak

Water:  0ver 100 oz

What's eating me is I have to go job hunting.   The news about our new ED and DNS is out and it's not good.  I won't work for either one of them.  The ED just got fired from the facility he's been at and they were fixing to fire the DNS so why our company decided to hire them is a mystery to me.  I guess now that they are selling they just want warm bodies in the building and to heck with the rest of us and the residents.  I'll be pounding the pavement by lunch time.  I have several options, just not sure which one I want to go for.  I don't like change very much.
