What are you eating and what's eating you?

I've been walking more the past week.  I miss my Wii but I can't use it again until my daughter leaves tomorrow.  (Long story, taped me on her phone while I was working out from behind and really embarrassed me.)  Yesterday wasn't too bad.. Thngs were so horrible at work I was just glad to get out of there at the end of the day.
Yesterday I had a cup of coffee with protein powder for breakfast.  Mid-morning I had 1/2 cup of fajita meat with sauteed bell pepper and onion.  Lunch was a 1/2 cup of steamed fish with dill and creole seasoning.  Afternoon snack was a sf jello pudding.  Supper was another 1/2 cup of the fajita/onion/bell pepper mix.  Today I had a sf, ff, protein frostie from the local coffee shop that was wonderful.  I sipped on it all morning.  For lunch I had a half cup of eggplant cassarole fortified with a lot of low-fat cheeses.  A protein bar for an afternoon snack.  I don't know what I will eat for supper.  I have been really good about getting in fluids every day.  I make sure I get at least 64 oz/day.  I don't drink much plain water though, I usually put crystal light or Lipton sf mixes in them.  Any ideas as to why I'm not losing right now?  I haven't lost a pound this past week.

Hi Sybul.

Your eating plan looks good. Staying around 1/2 of food per meal is best, and that's what you're doing. Your slow down is probably due to the time.  Usually, at about 5-6 weeks our losing slows down while our bodies "catch up".  Keep doing exactly what you're doing, but stay off the scale. Right now all it will do is frustrate you!   Give yourself a week or two and it will get moving again....promise!

Yesterday.....hmmm....that was a good 17.5 hours ago now. Let's see what I can remember!

B: Oikos and Special K w/Red Berries
L: German Sausage w/ 2 tbsp baked beans
S: Pickle
D: 1/2 Tilapia Fillet w/ 1/4 C Sweet Potato
D2(after workout aka snack): ham and cheese lunchable snack thingy...lol

What was eating me yesterday.....well it was my last day of work for the week since I took a half day off today. My boss was doing things on his own time which meant I got to stay late to get things done since he didn't bother getting his projects around until 4:15. I finally just left at 4:40...told him I had to go to bootcamp. I rushed home and cooked dinner since it was the first night Johnny could eat. I ended up leaving for my adventure bootcamp workout before he ever got home! Burned about 1000 cals at bootcamp. Came home and wanted to crash in bed. Instead, I had a shower, snack and helped the hubby study for his test today! THEN I crashed

Shawna, your meal plan looks good, be careful with the lunchables....pretty high in fat and sodium. But, with the way you're sweatting at boot camp maybe there's no need for concern after all!

Keep up the great work, and take good care of Johnny. How is he doing?  Sorry, forgot to ask.

Take care of both of you

Well it's not really a "lunchable" it's a "snack pack to go". Just meat, cheese and crackers. I don't know why they have to have so much dang sodium though!

Johnny is doing pretty good. He started eating Thursday so at least I can cook again. I hated cooking when he couldn't eat which put a strain on my diet for those 2 weeks.

Hi ladies,
I'm a bit late but better late than never.   Dian (my beautiful bride of 25 years) had surgery yesterday, so I have been playing nurse - emptying drains, changing dressings, and all that good stuff.  Boy, they sure didn't teach me that in business school.  Oh, well.  She is surviving in spite of my caregiving.   Food for the day follows.  Hope all of you have a great labor day weekend.

Hi Steve,  I really like the look of your food table and I'm looking for one that will be easy to use.  What program are you using?  I hope your wife is doing ok.  I think you'll be a great nurse.

Hi Sybul,
I am using myfitnesspal.com.  It works very well for me.  I think all of them have different advantages and disadvantages, but I am used to this one and it is easy to use.  It remembers what you have used in the past and lets you reselect when you eat it again.  Since I am in a bit of a rut with what I eat, this feature keeps me from having to enter new stuff very often.
As for my nursing skills...............well............she is still alive.

What a good hubby you are!  Hope your wife is on the mend soon.

Your food list looks great.  Isn't Fage the best???  I really have to go out of my way to buy it, but when I crave it it doesn't matter how far I have to go  LOL

I like to think of Fage with fresh raspberries as my high protien dessert.   Yum Yum!
