Okay, I am here......Just checkin' in when I can. Lots going on at home & work this week. Trying to get back in a routine....we will see. Other than that, everything is going great! By the time I work, exercise and try to spend a little Family time there is not much of me left! Am I the only one that dreads the end of summer? I hate the cold! I remember last winter I thought I would freeze to death!
BTW, glad to see everyone posting and have a safe & happy Labor Day!

Hi everyone! I PROMISE I'm still here. Just SUPER busy with school starting back and all! Trying to learn all my new student's names, faces, and personalities.......TRUST ME.....it can get confusing! Anyway, I had a great summer and was actually ready to start back to work believe it or not. Everyone always asks if I have lost my mind (especially other teachers!!) I still keep a log of what I eat but I sometimes don't get around to posting it on here BUT I do read what you guys are eating most of the time! I walk between four and six miles a day in the afternoons after work! Trying to get all the walking time in that I can before its starts getting dark early and also before I start teaching the afterschool program! Then it will have to be back to the faithful old treadmill for exercise!! Much rather be outside though!

Anyway, hi to everyone and glad to see that most of you are doing well! Y'all take care and I will be back to posting regularly when things slow down a bit for me!

I am here.  I read daily, but do not post often.

I've been checking the site every night but not posting.  All of our top management recently gave notice at work and things have been in a real turmoil.  School has just started back and my daughter and sil have been here the past week.  I love the site and enjoy reading everyone's posts. 

Okay, I am a newbie. I had my lap-band surgery (Dr. Fuller is my surgeon) on 08-19-08. His nurse Shannon told me to check this site out. (I think she got tired of my calling and asking stupid questions) I currently live in Little Rock and I attend UALR. I am an aspiring nursing student. I have two kids, both girls, and a husband. I was wondering if they have support groups in the Little Rock area. I would love to come to one. I need to get out and meet other people who are like me now. I have had a tough time relating to anyone now who does not have the same size stomach as I do.  Do you get over this? This mainly comes up (like now my husband ordered a pizza for dinner ) when food is involved. I am excited about this site. I hope I can make a lot of new friends! Thanks, Crystal
