Morning,

Well;, it wasn't a great eating day, but it wasn't all THTAT bad.  Started out okay, but I'll be glad when the Olympics are over and I stop the evening graze.  Nervous eating....

Latte

Bkfst;   mni whole grain bagel w/ FF cream cheese, 1 slice deli ham, banana

way to work:   whole milk latte ( I ordered this because according to my food plan at the time, I was short on fat)

Snack:    Ritz bits--cheese

Lunch:   lean cuisine bdef burgandy, 1/2  apple

Snack:      cocoa roasted almonds, 11

Dinner:   Southwest pork stew

Snack:     watermelon
Snack;      brazil nuts--4
Snack:      Quaker chewy bar

Cals:   1515     fat:  48(28%),   carbs: 215 (52%),  pro:   76 (20%)

The totals include 2 SBD Tide me over packets in water ( added fiber and protein)

All water and vitamins in.

What are you eating that is that high in carbs?  I have tried substituting low fat no-sugar-added frozen yogurt in place of my skim milk today to try to get my carbs on up there and STILL didn't hit my goal.  I even ate some chocolate puffs (fat free & sugar free) and STILL didn't hit my carb goal.  I'm wondering if I'm going to have to eat POPCORN for a meal to get it up there.  LOL

Yesterday I had the mini whole grain bagel ----80 cals, 22 grm carbs, 3 grm fiber, 5 grms protein

Lean Cuisine Beef Burgandy ( beep tips w/ grains...quite yummy) 150 cals 19.5 carbs, 1,5 fibr, 9 grm pro.  I only ate 1/2 of it because I had an apple with it.

The southwest pork stew is homemade with diced pork and brown rice.  For 1/2 cup it's:
200 cals, 2.5 fat, 29.0 carbs, 3.6 fiber, 14.3 protein

Whole grains and fruit seem to get those carbs up pretty easily.  I sometime do have a bag of 100 cal a bag popcorn at night. I even put butter on it if my fat grams are low
