the last few days anything I have eaten goes right through me, I thought constipation was more common for band. Anyone else? Robyn

I don't have a band, but my problem is definitely opposite of yours!

Regardless of what type of surgery you have, if you are on an ALL LIQUID DIET (or MOSTLY liquid diet), things will normally "come out" as they "went in".

When you move to mostly solid foods, it should stop.  (I had RNY, but with my post-op liquid/mush diet, I had watery stools for a couple of months.  It passes.)

See it was totally different for me. When I was on liquids, I didn't have a BM for 2 weeks. When I did, it was a coming to Jesus event. I imagine those pain meds backed me up or lack of fluids or....the list goes on. I've not had loose bowels since I was ill pre-op!
