free plastic surgery

dont know if any of u have heard but there are a few hospitals that will do the tummy tucks for free,, they need the skin for other operations. there are a few in Little rock if anyone is interested.. after watching it on tv tho id rather excersise then go thru that it really made me sick looking at it..

Ooh I am interested!  And plus I like the idea of the skin being donated.  They use the skin for burn victims and skin grafts.  And also for when their doing cosmetic surgery for when people get seriosly injured and there's not enough of their own skin.  I saw a thing on tv about it one time.

I think its a great idea also.. glad i could let some of you know this.. a friend of mine had it done. I think it was something or other baptist hosp in Little rock.. but im sure if u call around others do it too,, some of these surguies are around 9-12,000 so would be helping others besides your selfs..

Hi,, no sorry all I know that the hosp is in little rock.. I think it was called baptist hosp.. I will try to find out tho.. i wont see the lady for a few weeks she is on vacation now..

This is just hearsay, but I have heard that Childrens Hosp. is one of the hosp. because they need the skin for burn patients.

sorry but its not hearsay,, I know a person that had it done and she was on vacation so i finally found her moms number and called her.. and if u also look below my comment another said the same thing..

What I meany by hearsay was that I was not for sure if it was done at Childrens hosp..  It was a couple of years ago when a lady I knew was checking on haveing it done.

I too would be very interested in obtaining further information about this -  I have done research in the past and have always been told that the skin that is removed from patients after WLS normally does not meet the requirements for doantion. 

So if anyone hears different that would make me very happy. 

Both my husband and I would love to be able to let someone else gain some benifit from our extra skin.

Hi,, I called her mom and she said the same as below,, it was Bapist hospital in Little rock.. the use it for grafting,, and burn victims and other stuff too.. so that would be great helping each other out.. good luck let us know what they say..  lyn
