I have a question for the day.

How has the weight loss changed your style of clothes?
I use to wear big clothes that covered everything. Now I love wearing tank tops, halters and even the tube type tops. I love to show my shoulders. I also wear my skirts shorter. They use to come down to my ankles now I wear them above the knees. ALso I can wear high heels some. Not just flats and tennis.
How has your style changed? For those not lost much how would you like to dress?

Hey Carla,
Great question.  I feel I can mimic your answer.  My tops are tanks, my shorts are shorter, not all knee length now, my skirts are DEFINITELY shorter.  As a matter of fact, I have a hard time finding longer shorts now that I am smaller, its like they think if you are a size 7, you want to wear daisy dukes.  Its a confidence thing, and my husband had to help me out there.  When I got down to a 12-14, I still wanted to wear big baggy clothes and long shirts and capris all the time.  He finally told me to show what I had been allowed to have after all these years.  My heels are also higher and it doesnt bother me to wear high heeled boots all day on a shopping trip.

Yep, life is certainly different now, but I love it.  Not so sure my mom does, lol.   She just shakes her head at my spaghetti strap tops and mini skirts.

Have a good day,
Rhonda D.

My mom doesn't say much about the way I dress now it is more my daughter. She just shakes her head at me. Now my boss at work keeps telling me I need to wear more clothes. I just laugh at him and tell him I am not showing anything sexual. SO he just shakes his head and walks away.

Well I can't say my style has changed much. I like a lot of the same clothes, but now I have more to choose from and look better in them! I try to stay away from flowing clothes that saved me pre-op because they mess with my head, but other than that....I probably dress more conservatively now because I'm no longer in school and I got married....hehe. As for shoes, I just suffered right through my 3" stilettos pre-op. I wore stilettos to college graduation and everyone thought I was crazy. I wore them to work the other day and I can tell you my toes don't hurt nearly as bad as they used to after walking in them all day. Even if they did, I'd still wear them...lol.

I wear clothes that are more snug.  Other than that, not a lot has changed about my look.
