Wonderful Rainy Sunday!!!!

Good morning all,
I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend.  We are having a wonderful rainy Sunday.  Perfect day for going to church and coming home and sleeping alllllll afternoon. 

As things go, I didnt get to go to church, I have a family reunion today, so instead of sleeping all afternoon I'll be hanging out w/family.

Good rainy Morning Ms Rhonda!

What a lovely day..for certain.  I'm not doing a whole lot today.  Just took my son to work, and I have heard of a Oneness Blessing ceremony today that I may go to later.  I was thinking about starting a painting today...we'll see.  DH is entertaining his youngest kids.  I just let them have time with each other..

It is such a blessing, THANK YOU GOD for this rain and break in the heat!  I am watching tv, eating saltines and drinking tea, my stupid tummy and bowels are still giving me the same crap two weeks out of surgery, whats the deal?

What a great day to sit back and enjoy some coffee while watching it rain.   Maybe even watch a ball game or a golf tournament.  OK, talked myself right into it.  I think I'll just do my best imitation of a vegetable today and enjoy.

Sounds like a good day was had by all, we attended the family reunion, then went to "the barn" to hang out with friends.  Was a great day, I agree, coffee was certainly in order today.  Had some this morning, then some at the reunion, was gonna make some at the barn, but we were out over there.  Just might have to make a pot this evening and vegetate. 

I have to get up early in the morning, have to be in Eldorado, 70 miles from home at 9 am in the morning.  Might try to crash early tonight and enjoy the rainy weather.  We had beans at the barn and all decided after getting our tummy full of beans, it warrented going home and crashing like big ole dead trees!!!

Hope your family reunion went well! 

I spent the day doing the remainder of all my kid's school shopping.  It was not pleasant.  In fact, today was the first day that down-right SUCKED shopping for their school clothes.  I guess because most of today was spent on my son who is VERY hard to please when it comes to clothes.  My daughter would have found something in EVERY store on EVERY rack and I would have just had to weed out what I didn't want her to have.  My son could go to 20 stores and find 2 things he liked (and those 2 things I'm going to have to ARGUE with him to even get him to TRY THEM ON because he insists that "they will be fine" if they look remotely NEAR his size and sometimes THEY ARE NOT FINE).

Then we went grocery shopping.  The kids complained the entire time.  "My feet hurt."  "My head hurts."  "Mom, Hannah ran her basket into my foot."  "Shut up Jay!  Mom, Jay called me a butt-waffle."  CRASH!  "Jay you butt!"  "Hannah, you fatty!"  "Oh my god mom - Jay just called me fatty."  "I hate you Jay."  "I love you too sis" (in a sarcastic voice).

They unloaded all the bags & groceries from the truck as soon as we got home.  Then I made them each write 100 sentences...
"I will not try to aggrevate my sister/brother and I will ignore her/him if he/she tries to aggrevate me."

They hate sentences.  I think they would rather be beaten than write sentences.  As a matter of fact, they have ASKED to be spanked instead of writing sentences before.  So I must be doing okay with that punishment. 

I have now cooked supper and need to take a swim in the tub. 

I weighed in at 130 even this morning.  It's more where I need to be, but it's still hard to see that .8 pound gain and not freak out.
