I'm an admitted lurker, but hey, I have to say I've learned a lot by sitting and paying attention. I just wanted say Hi to everyone. I have a surgery date of October 1 even though I was approved in June I wanted to wait for my husband to return from Iraq, which we hope will be end of September. I look forward to getting to know the family here on OH.

Hi! Congrats on your date and hopefully your husband will be home in time! Feel free to chime in as much as you like! Since I don't know my way around Arkansas so well, where is it that you are? I didn't recognize the name of the town.

I don't know my way around that well either. We just moved to Arkansas last October from Pope AFB NC. Vilonia is about 20 minutes from Conway if that helps. We live also live 20 minutes from Little Rock AFB. It's kind of funny we tell our family, who all live in South Carolina, we are 20 minutes from EVERYTHING-lol!

Welcome and good luck on your surgery.
Hopefully your husband will make it back in time to be there for you. How long has he been over there? My nephew just left for his second time over there.
